I'm pretty sure 29 teams had this deal on the table. From what I understand, leaguewide interest was less than tepid. It'll be interesting to see if this deal resurfaces once FA musical chairs finishes and a bunch of spurned suitors with space or assets move to plan B (us, Dallas, Clippers, Knicks, Nets, etc). Evan
My understanding is that the Rox were going to pull the trigger on such a deal, but Philly backed out at the last minute. 29 teams had a shot at the deal, but maybe the interest on the part of 28 was tepid.
