    He was, under Pitino. As soon as he got out from under Pitino's ranting, he started to blossom into what a top-10 pick should be.

    Forget this trade, though. Detroit is not trading Darko.

    I:m glad the Rockets kept Steve and everyone else. This team did not need a trade, all they need is just more consistent play out of Yao and Steve.

    Not to question your basketball knowledge, oh verbose one, as you demonstrate it on a regular basis around here, but I have a serious question for those of you who are so high on Darko:

    Have you ever seen him play?

    Or are you basing your opinions on his pre-draft hype and the fact that the Pistons, while not giving him much playing time, are also being careful not to express disappointment in him?

    I guess that's two questions, innit? ;)
