First of all because your name says "nix", which bears very close resemblances to Richard Nixon, you have lost all credibility on this forum because we all know that Nixon was a big fat liar in the watergate scandals. Oh please what's so good about Nixon? He brought this country to shame and and do not deserve any accolodate for Vietnam.

Not bad, considering this is his FIRST game. And he's only 19 years old... sigh...

It's too early to monitor Gay's box scores, but the trade was a horrible move. Anyone that has watched him play the last two years knows he can play. I just hope he turns out to be a good player and not a great player.

Yeah Shane sure has a proven track record when it comes to winning. 0 for 12 in fact.

Let me put this straight. Shane Battier is a good pickup, but Gay/Swift for Battier is a HORRIBLE trade.[/QUOTE]

I agree. You cant say that battier is proven when he has never won or performed well in the playoffs. He defense is also overrated. You cant name one crucial game when he has shut down another player.

I wouldnt be too sad yet. Remember it is summer league. Shavlik Randolp just scored 25 and grabbed 13 rebounds in his first game this summer.

I'm certainly not defending ol' Tricky Dick but we did withdraw from Viet NAM during his administration. It all began under JFK's administration and greatly escalated under LBJ's.

I think your the only poster that ive ever hated your horrible and you should leave this site now and never and i mean never come back. Idiot trying to compare Yao a center that will be the most dominante of his time to a complete joke for an NBA center. We need to scan people before they become member because i have no tolerence for people like this joke for a poster who is most likely a UTAH FAN and living in his own little world.

You're comparing Yao to Okur? Classic. I hereby nominate nix101 for the "Fish Called Otto" award.

I'm surprised there are some still some Yao haters trying to push the Yao myths still.

Why are you guys giving so much attention to this nix101? I have given up replying to him.

This is what he said in another thread:

Right...a kid could have learned how to play American basketball to compete in the NBA by being in one single basketball camp which lasted for a week or two and by watching NBA since he was 12. LOL

He is not sure if Yao can even be a No.2 guy on his team but then he said Yao is a bonafide all-star in his next paragraph.

I don't have the time to dig up all his other stupid rantings and quote them here. Do a search for his posts if you want some laughs.

Obviously, this guy is either a fool or an attention w****.

He's a YOH, quite possibly also racist. I wish Yao's play would shut these people up; unfortunately that's not the case, I mean if Charley Rosen can write an article calling Yao a big stiff while analyzing a game where he scored 36 POINTS, there's no eliminating the YOH's irrational beliefs.

I have also given up replying to him when he called Yao soft after all the articles reporting Yao's playing with injury and Yao's stellant performance after ASG. He said his motto is, when you are soft , you are always soft (somthing along those lines). So there will be no change in his hardline view. Anyway, it is his opinion.

I gotta say what the hell to your signature Champ06. You act like it's too late for them to be. As far as I'm concerned they are Shaq and Kobe when regarding them as a combo and their overall talent/skill/best players at their positions. Yao is the #1 center in the league now, like Shaq was back when they were together. Kobe was in the top 3 guards back when they were together. I say a healthy T-Mac this year will be in the top 3 guards in the league. Now, all they gotta do is stay healthy and the comparisons will take care of themselves when the Rockets go far in the playoffs this season.

The label "soft" is so overated as a negative factor of players... for proof, look at Dirk Nowitzki and Tim Duncan, both are labelled soft, yet both are amazing players.

Maybe this is the reason for Rox not keep Rudy Gay?
