Not official yet and HEALTH ISSUES? What are you talking about? He has missed 12 games in his career with no health issues and if he has they sure have not shown. He is about as solid as they come.

Hopefully Garnett results from this. Otherwise, we really dropped the ball. Maybe they want to move the Rockets?

Marcus Williams is still on the board...but I doubt he gets past Jersey. All these dumb deals better lead to a BLOCKBUSTER trade WITHOUT giving up Tmac/Yao. They better be clearing salary for KG or something haha

I'm just sooooo lost in what the Rockets are doing.. This summer better get better for our team because it isnt starting well at all... I feel like Dallas just blew us out in game 7 all over again... I'm going to chew a few Tums and try to not puke over this... I'm just so damn lost with what is going on right now..

    Don't be surprised - he's a Rockets' "yes" man.

Jim Foley is a yes man. He would have been positive if we drafted Matt Maloney.

This reminds me of the Family Guy where Peter can choose between getting a boat, or a mystery box which could be anything, including a boat.

    Except... this is different.

The boat is a Ford Focus, and the myster box could be anything ranging from a Ford Focus to a Bentley.

    Terrible trade.

JVG didn't even give Sto a good chance this year to succeed. He kept on playing Garbage like Ryan Bowen,Howard, and Chuck Hayes. I don't care what anyone says Stromile>>>>>>>> Bowen,Howard,Hayes

they're having a live chat with Gay on espn.com, for what its worth he talks like he's going to be in houston. They didn't talk with all the other traded guys like foye, roy, thomas and lamarcus. Maybe it'll fall through.

This management/owner/coach reminds of the worst years of the Toronto maple Leafs under the owner Harold ballard.

A cheap mother fcker that did not give a f about the fans least about winning.

For a shole decade and a half the team was bottom of the league never improving. year after year they had high draft picks but pissed them away with dispicable trades and development of their young talent.

I am ashamed of being a Rox fan with this type of crew sterring the ship

T-mac and Ming's years are flushed down the toilet. Too bad they show such loyalty to such incompentent Assesss

The ONLY way this draft is anything less than a full-fledged disaster is if Marcus Williams drops into our laps (at presumably the pick Memphis swaps with us) and develops into an allstar.

Nice! If in fact the rockets have made this trade then I am all for it. This draft has nothing of significant value outside of the top 3. Getting Battier is a good thing. He can defend and knock down the open shot when needed. This is the best thing for the Rox...Gay would take a couple of years to develop and the organization needs to win now. TC attendance is horrible and mgt needs a product that is going to win now not 2 years from now. Hopefully we get another pick for this deal.

I will get flamed...but I'm surprised about the negative reaction..ESPECIALLY since we got rid of Swift? Swift is not a good fit on our team...we get a perfect complementary player in Battier who can play both F positions who is a top defender and good 3 point shooter...who else fits our team better?

We get rid of Swift, who we were probably trying to just give away so we can have cap room to sign someone else? If we get the 24th pick from Memphis, I love this trade! Flame me as much as you want, but Battier is like a Prince or Horry for championship teams!

NJ has 2 picks now ... they need big men, maybe Williams will still be there ... but maybe the grizzlies have kept the pick anyway :(

sirjesse: Gay, he might be good, but he might be eddie griffith. People question his work ethic

Gay has been questioned for not being assertive enough, and motivation, Griffin was crazy(domestic violence, dissappearing for weeks at a time, etc.). T-Mac was criticized for the same, and hes not too bad. Your logic, argument, support is as moronic as this deal and the rockets management.
