What does Orlando have to show for trading T-Mac? Exactly nothing. Cato,Francis, and Mobley all are on different teams.
Your quote was: "oh, we are at the doorstep of a former trade-away, that's great". Its not that I cant comprehend, its more that that is not a functional phrase. I know a lot of fans here are Asian and so am I, but dont criticize when you threw out a bunch of jibberish that makes no sense in the English language. If you hate the rox and the moves so much go cheer for another team. Maybe the Grizz and their overrated Rudy Gay.
The funny thing is I got into an e-mail argument before Francis got traded to NY with some Orlando journalist that wrote some garbage article claiming the Magic got the better end of that trade. His argument was basically an extremely biased personal attack on McGrady calling him the usual: selfish, not dependable, bad teammate and a loser. Now like you just mentioned, they all play for different teams now. Francis, as much as I love him, is looking washed up and clearly isn't the player he used to be. McGrady on the other hand will be playing a key role on a team that will be prepared to make a (hopefull) deep playoff run.
I can't post a thread yet so somebody take the glory... http://blogs.chron.com/sportsjustice/archives/2006/07/shane_battier_a.html This is justice's latest Shane rant and take on what is going on...
Yet somehow this team is probably going to make the playoffs next year and could even win a series with Howard, Nelson, Redick.
How ironic? How's that not functional phrase? What's not to understand? Pompous rookie goes nowhere. Thank god this world isn't run by morons like you. But seriously, you have no business telling me who I should cheer for or what opinion I have about the team management.
Hey smart guy, "How ironic" is not a question. Unless you are wondering why something is ironic which again makes no sense here. Why dont you ask anyone else if they can explain what you possibly meant, or even try to explain it yourself which you havent done. Oh and by the way, I dont give a crap who you cheer for. Just wanted to point out you sound like a little b*tch whining about everything.
LOL, Yea, it's about question marks. Or is it haven't versus havent? Look rookie, I'll let you in for a little secret. You can perfectly argue your points - if you have any - without getting into those lowly tactics as name calling, questioning language skills, where posters came from, or question marks. JVG was on doorsteps of Mike James (a former Rockets trade-away)'s house. If you find yourself happy with the Rockets management, good for you. But name calling would not make you more right or last long on this board.
You've been a registered user on Clutch for all of two months and you're telling people to go root for other teams. Just because you criticize your team does not mean you hate them. 75% of us voted that the trade was terrible, should we root for another team? I don't think so.
I love it when guys come in and have an immediate impact. It's the Mike James effect. Seriously though, when your passionate about a team - and you live and die by their every move, signing , trade, game, whatever - then you have just as much right as anyone to criticize. i'll call the Rockets out all day long, because I set the highest standards of my teams management, players and coaches. and thats something we should all agree on. If your hearts not in it to that extent, don't even bother trying to last on clutchfans...
I heard Stromile wont report to Memphis. If he ruins the trade and we retain Rudy Gay ...oh man. All I want is for the Rockets to give the kid a chance. Plus, I think its safe to say Stromile didnt really get an oportunity to play with Yao and Mcgrady at the same time for very too often. I knew before they signed him he wasnt going to be our 3rd scoring option but I expected him to produce ala Cato. If this trade doesnt go through it will rank up there with the Sean Elliot trade for Horry.
^ I think Memphis has the option to recend the trade and I doubt they would. Remember when Jim Jackson wouldn't show up to New Orleans? New Orleans still let the trade go through even though he wouldn't report.
You should probably relax a little, dude. You're preaching to another person about name-calling when you just called him a "pompous rookie" and "moron?" Sincerely, that's just not right. Be passionate, be convicted to your opinions, but there's really no need to be outright mean. Just a thought. Let's keep the GARM civil even in these polarizing times.
Go back and read the posts. You are the one started insulting me. Then you started the name calling which was pointed out by the poster above me. I didnt start writing anything rude until you did. Dont insult other posters if you cant take it back. Im glad you are passionate about the Rox. My point is what is done is done. Criticizing is fine, but constantly coming on and talking about the gloom and doom devastation facing the Rox is painful to keep reading. I still think more GMs then not would like to have the Rox situation.
I'll call anyone who wants to advance argument with race, language skill card, etc. just that. However, I like your relax a little attitude.
Say what? I wasn't even going to argue with you, I was going to "rest my case", until you pull that "from Asia" "jibberish in English" crap. Look, I've been on this board for a long time, I don't insult someone out of nowhere. I don't even argue with someone don't deserve my time arguing.
