I am still in shock, I have tried to look at the positives yet this trade just doesn't make sense. I could have understood moving Swift back to Memphis yet to throw in Gay has just left me speechless. I honestly don't know what more to say, Isiah would have thought twice about this trade.

Holy cow. I stayed late at work listening to ESPN radio which never mentioned this proposal. I was ecstatic with Rudy Gay, and I finally log on to see this devastating story. Jeff summed it up nicely way back.... the Rockets were saying (and everyone knows) that we need depth and athleticism. We just got it, and then traded it away. Battier is a great fit for the team, but at the pricetag we paid, we just got raped. I am shocked that we couldn't get a better player somewhere else in the league if we really wanted to trade potential for a sure thing. CD, JVG, and Morey. You suck at your jobs. JVG.
