I don't think it's anywhere as bad as some of yall are making it out to be. Even all the guys on ESPN said it was going to be 2-3 years before Gay became anything, Battier fills a HUGE need NOW!! I love his game and he compliments Yao and TMac perfectly. I know he is not a freak athlete and not a young guy with potential, but it's a nice deal. Now, did they use their $4.2 TE for this deal?
I like the trade. Battier is an all-around, proven player. His high BB IQ will be much appreciated in our team.
