I don't think Wells' has a player option that was last year, this year is the second and last of his contract. Either way I doubt the Clippers are gonna want our washed up players for Maggette.

Absolutely. I did. I read your whole stupid trade idea. And I tried to be nice. But you were a smart alec. So let me put this in terms you can understand:
THE ONLY GOOD ROCKETS PLAYER IN THIS TRADE IS BONZI WELLS.

Perhaps you should've noticed it's a bad trade by the 2 star rating for this thread. When you have a player as good as Maggete up on the block, you'd better get something better than Bonzi Wells; two washed up, wannabe point guards; and Kirk Snyder. This trade is ridiculous.

The Clippers are not in win now mode. They know their season is over. Why the hell would they so desperately need a couple of crappy swingmen that they would trade their top scorer who is also averaging over a steal a game? I understand you "could have elaborated". But you didn't, and I have a feeling that your elaboration would be just as stupid as the rest of this idea. It's a BAD TRADE, plain and simple. And when a team's star is involved, it'd better be an OBVIOUS trade. An injured Francis isn't an obvious trade.

Just because it may work on the trade machine doesn't make it a good trade. This trade works too! And I can argue it just as well as you did! The Spurs get a capable point forward? in Tracy McGrady, a dominant center in his prime in Yao Ming, and phenomenal rookies Aaron Brooks and Luis Scola. Why don't we post this on ClutchFans, hmm? Why don't you do some thinking next time you post a trade here. Kthxbye.

LOL! You the man, Tinman! Bringing back a little reality to a highly UN-realistic thread! BTW, that's Tiffany right? Man, she was HOT back when I was in HS. Back when wild hair north and south of the border was cool! :p Man, I'd buy that for a dollar! :D

Francis isn't leaving Houston so as Bonzi.

Kirk and Mike? Maybe but they must show up.

It's a good trade, actually after trade McGrady threads I expected one more but you surprised me.

But you know It won't work out, since they're not interested for throwing Maggete for nothing, even Mike James who could be a lonely spot at their PG.

Something tells me it would take a lot more than a few of our bench guys to get him. The Clips have already turned down a straight-up Maggette for Artest deal, and you think the guys you offer them in your trade scenario would have a bigger impact on their team than Artest? Not likely.

Wow! Funny that video she didn't look like Debbie Gibson. You're right though Tiff had nothing on DG and 20 yrs later! Hello! That's right Tiff did that " I think we're alone now" song sorry a little rusty on my 80s top 40 ****! With the photo shop job I have to bump up this thread to average even though the original content of it completely sucks. You saved it with "only in my dreams!" Solid one, Tinman! :D

Yeah right! It was called the Southern Star Ampitheatre! You know the ride that was truly insane was that space ship one. I turned my pockets inside out and twisted so my change wouldn't fall out. Some didn't and you heard rhythmic cursing. I went with then my work mates at Chik fil A. Our crew chief just about **** his pants when the ship hung upside down and stopped for like 30 seconds to a minute. His quote "I'm never F-N taking this evil ride again!" I couldn't stop laughing. Ah, good times! :D

I still don't think it would take as much as people think to get Maggette.

By the way, the "Kthxbye" thing was extremely feminine. I didn't realize you were female, not that there is anything wrong with that. I just thought you were a guy for some reason.

Anyhow, you made some good points. I don't know if this deal would necessarily appeal to the Clippers. It was just an idea.

Relax a bit. No need to get so emotional, girl. Go find something to enjoy. Go to the mall or go shopping or whatever girls do. No need to call a common fan's opinion stupid just because you don't agree with it. Sheesh... women!

The bottom line is Maggette will unlikely be a Clipper in 2 seasons.

I think many who think this trade idea is ridiculous will be surprised with what the Clippers do get when they finally trade Maggette. It won't be much more than I suggested.

My modifed suggestion was Head, James, Wells, Snyder and a 2nd round pick for Cassell, Maggette and Powell plus a filler, if necessary.

Finally, Maggette isn't that big of a deal. I was actually first thinking about getting Cassell for his veteran presence and clutch play. IF we were to make the playoffs, a player like Cassell, even at his age can make a big difference. He is exactly the type of player that the Rockets could use, in my opinion.

I just threw in Maggette for the heck of it and came up with a larger trade idea to dump some of the players that aren't doing well for us. No big deal. Just an idea.

No need for people to get their panties all bunched up like blathersby did.

How good to you clowns think Maggette is?

The trade idea may or may not appeal to the Clippers but it is not as far-fetched as some of you are making it out to be.

You are talking about Debbie Gibson. That alone forbids you from criticizing anybody else about anything.

    BrooksBall,

Take the Attitude down a notch or two. No need for the personal insults.

Your idea makes no sense for the Clippers to even consider doing.

If you are going to give me advice like that, start by looking at who started the insults. Take your effort to read all the posts up a notch or two before doling out advice.

The trade was just a wild idea. I agree that the Clippers likely would not be interested in it.

I still think the Rockets would be served well to bring in a savvy vet like Cassell. It probably wouldn't take much to get him. The Clips would be happy to get something for him considering his age and expiring contract.

Maggette may take a little more to get than what I suggested and ultimately may not be a great fit for this team anyway.
