Keep Mobely. Keep our 3 picks and get 3 big guys knowing that statistically speaking some WILL and some WON'T work out.

Wouldn't you love to add Stephen Hunter (13), Zach Randolph (18) and Terrance Morris (23) to the mix?

Or RadMan (13), Stephen Hunter (18) and Kirk Haskins (23) to the team?

Being young is over-rated if the damn refs would call the game how it happens without giving preferential treatment to vets or especially to stars.

How have they avoided the suspicion and an investigation about games being fixed? Everyone is so open about the inequality of treatment, I guess. It is still "criminal."

No way we trade Cat and 3 first round draft picks. I'm not enamored with CAT's decision making, however, I think that will improve over the years. I think we should ship Cato and Walt Williams ($12 million in Salary) for Webber in a sign and trade. I would also offer to swap 2 of our draft picks for Sacramento's second round pick, which is not guaranteed.

Who said The Cat is not a reason for Webber considering playing here?

Steve and Cat are both his friends and "make up the most exciting NBA backcourt" (paraphrasing C-Webb).

It might mean nothing in the end, but it's something, if we have a shot at the guy.

I am used to reading about trades that favor one team over the other. Normally the Rockets are the team that benefit from the proposed deals. This has got to be one of the least favorable deals I have seen proposed for a while.

Why would we give up a 20 ppg player and 3 first round picks in one of the deepest drafts in 10 years? This draft does not have a FRANCHISE TYPE PLAYER! I would only give up two of our picks, maybe all three if Cato is somehow worked in the deal.

Cat is not going anywhere. Maybe I read the proposed deal wrong and you really meant Cato.

    Amen,

With a consistent 3rd scorer (Mo' not getting into foul trouble from having to play center), Mobley's scoring should go up, because he'll be more difficult to guard with fewer offensive weaknesses on the court.

Sometimes player's scoring goes down with better team-wide execution (Isiah's stats drop every year after his 2nd), sometimes it goes up (Dumars pretty much went up every year peaking at 24ppg, I believe). I believe Mobley is in the latter category, while Francis is in the former category.

I think that cats effectiveness has been shown througout the past season,His decision making is sure to improve and his shot should improve if he is working on it. NO way do we trade him.
