I say keep him, if he comes back healthy he gives us that instant mismatch and closer at the end of games. If not, then next summer we have plenty of cap space for Morey to work his magic with.

Lol are you trying to call me out or something.

All the haters are basically saying trade him just because he had a bad season. You want to get rid of a guy just 2 get rid of him is not a good move. If every rocket player had a bad season and was injury prone then i wonder how this team would look 2day :p

Its funny on this board just because a poster stands up for someone they have to be labeled as a Mcgrady lover or Yao lover and so on and so on. unbelievable.

I don't like the way he dealt with his injury last season. But he did give us some great moments. Remember, he played 48 mins to give us the 21 win straight. So I'm still not sure if his altitude has problem or not. I think maybe the team doctors should take a little bit responsiblity for this drama.

BTW, so many injuries these several years, not mention Yao and Tmac, look at Battier, Alston, Doesey. The only one that is always heathy in our rotaion is Scola. Is this team cursed?

Artest was hurt also this year. Brooks missed games, Barry missed games also. Cursed?? I don't know about that. I'll just say the General managers has a way of picking out players that seem to get injured.

I wouldn't say "at all costs". We need to get something worthwhile, because he's still a valuable trade asset for multiple reasons.

... But I'm open to the idea of trading him, even though part of me would like to see him stay a Rocket. I get pretty attached to star players that play for my team unless they do something flagrantly horrible (like Scottie Quitten). I'm still willing to give McGrady the benefit of the doubt on some things.
