Trade Lin and Asik to New York for Melo?

    The only place I see Melo accepting other than NY is Lakers or Miami, based on his personal relationships with Kobe and Lebron.. or the Clippers.

    What makes you think I'd go anywhere? I'm still a Morey/Harden fan (even though Harden's overuse of ISO's and spotty D makes me tear my hair out).

    As for the proposed trade, it's not going to happen. Melo is still a high value scorer (though disinterested on Defense). The Knicks could get a much better package of players if they really wanted to trade Melo (which is unlikely).

    Melo is Dolan's golden boy. They've built the team around him, and they're not going to let him go unless they get a bonafide all star to replace him. And even then, they probably would just try to retain Melo.

    That's like trading 2 semi-bench players for 1 superstar. It's typical for fans of teams to overvalue their players in trade scenarios.

    2nd plays: Harden iso
    3rd plays: Howard iso
    4th plays: parson iso

    Beverley: keep counting each player iso fairly so that no drama will occurs.
