RR - are you writing poetry? Is that some kind of japanese meter?
What's up with the weird indentions, paragraphs, and signature flourish?

It's almost a haiku... but not quite ;)

I'm going to put on some jazz, pour a manhatten, and try to read it like blank verse.

Preach it, MM. That's the truth right there. I won't start the shooting guard debate thing (I think Steve is more of a 2) but having Steve and Cat together is sometimes painful.

Granted, our team chemistry keeps changing so Steve might rely more on his own shot; and Mobley's (temporarily) bad wheels have seemed to throw off his shot. But sometimes you wonder how far we'll get with the Jack Happy Twins.

Rudy's a Nice Guy but, well, so what? Time to get tough, dude. (Although Rudy has some impeachment insurance with Yao's presence on the team.)

You live by the sword you die by the sword.

Cat and Steve will not stop shooting. Rather than to deny it, let's just understand the simple reality.

If theyre on, the Rockets are hard to beat. If theyre off, watch out.

In other words, our season rides on the ability of these 2 players to make the 20 foot jump shot.

Good point. I'm still not at that point, yet but it could happen by roughly this time next year.

Of course if true, a trade (it would probably have to be Francis) could possibly solve the problem. How can you be sure it is Rudy and not Francis for example?

Granted, the trade probably shook up the chemistry a bit, and threw the rotation out of wack, but I still like the deal.

As much as I like KT, the roster has better balance now, and the Rocks have gained a solid perimeter defender.

Has anyone thought yet about all those years Rudy and CD spent with Dream? I don't know of a better Big man coach than Rudy. He spent all those years with Olajuwon, so don't you think he would be the best coach for Ming?

If it did come to that stage, I wouldnt unload Francis, thats crazy. Im already in support of moving Mobley for someone that will be able to handle the ball handling and passing duties in an intelligent manner. I have already conceded Francis's limitations as some on this board have and realize that Francis, Mobley and Moochie are just not a good mix for this team. I am just so sick and tired of all this trying to force a square peg through a round hole. This is Francis's 4th season and Mobley's 5th season plus the Rockets have one of the deepest rosters in the league; yet we are in the bottom tier in the league in assists and assists to turnovers. Its an absolute disgrace watching this offense on most nights.

The question you raised was whether or not Rudy is responsible for this. Consider the fact that he basically let Francis and Mobley iso iso iso for the better part of 3 years so they could develop their so-called "go-to" abilities. The problem is that they developed some serious tunnel vision in this time and really did not understand how to get this team playing together. Moochie would add to this problem by becoming the little dribbler or what not. The end result is 3 guards that have pathetic court vision and passing ability and only know one way to play the game in a tough situation. Rudy could be blamed for training them in this way no?

Honestly I don't think we've ever had good chemistry on the court. Everyone's always talked about our great chemistry but I think that had to do more with how well everyone played Playstation2 together than how well they meshed on the court. We'd still be searching for chemistry with KT.
