Of course Morey always have some type of trade brewing in the pot. I don't think it's a big time trade, it will more and likely be a minor one. Right now the core players of Harden, Howard, Ariza, Bev, Dmo, Jones, Terry, Capela, Brewer, and Lawson are untouchable.

The original posting of that image was actually a comparing Jones miscues to a brain freeze .... and stated he is an athlete playing basketball , not a basketball player who also happens to be an athlete. Jones is pretty much teh suck .... but all this team has at the moment. Someone send DMo a get well soon card and help Morey figure out how to trade Jones for an upgrade while not costing a rotation piece in the process. The reason it has been posted multiple times in multiple threads is because Heypartner thought it a good response to stupid threads and stupid posts .... Posters having a brain freeze when they post. Just for this season unless a sweet deal comes along. Right now they have the mindset of a championship run. That's why you keep those two players. Morey will deal with the contract issue when he crosses that mountain.
I've always thought of Morey as a "well, that mountain's getting bigger and bigger, time to dump our excess baggage....unless there's a Louis Vuitton to be had?" He's not the leopard from "Snows of Kilimanjaro", found dead halfway up the mountain, and no one knowing for sure what he was seeking at such an altitude.
Doubtful the list is that long for core, untouchable players. Granted, Rockets aren't giving anyone away from that list for anyone that isn't an upgrade this season.
"A trade could happen from now to the trade deadline".... well when else would it happen? You made this thread so broad to the point you can say "See, I was right" somewhere along the line of this season.
I'm not an insider but have access to the internet and can say with reasonable certainty that if an opportune trade circumstance should unfold that improves the team the Rockets will in all probability complete a trade prior to the trade deadline. I'm just the messenger.
Depends. I don't think I was to broad. The main trade subjects are tjones, Dmo and KJ. [i just said no one is safe other then our starting 4 if it's for the right person which I said is unlikley] If you look at it if we acquire Somone with a decent sized contract obviously KJ would have to be involved to even clear space. KJ can't be traded until about two months. And I also listed players who we could trade for. When a trade approaches soon I may be able to get more info. I don't think anyone can predict when the exact day or time will happen. I was just passing the info I had whether it be rather dry or informative to some.
