Opps. You were actually talking about randolph.

Though I still wouldn't do that deal. I wouldn't at all be surprised if Randolph signed a big contract then got fat like shawn kemp.

Seriously, by making a trade like that, the Rockets organization will become the laughing stock of the league for the next 10 years.

This may not be the most unrealistic trade thread ever, but it's the worst trade thread in terms of it hurting Houston ever on this board.

We trade our best player (arguably 2nd, but I think best) and get back a high pick bust and a perpetually injured center.

I'd be part of a lynch mob hunting down CD...

LMAO...you guys want to trade Yao?

Hey we will give you Stromille Swift, Battier, Tsakalidis, Troy Bell, a future 1st round pick and $3 million for Yao Ming and Moochie Norris!

Wow, that's a steal. A No. 1 overall for one No. 2, one No. 4, one No. 16, one No. 25 and one unknown first rounder! No, that is too much a favour from a good friend. Trade turned down!

I've never seen a worse trade suggested, from a Rockets perspective. I don't think I'd do that deal even if they threw in LeBron.

Francis for Ginobili is a steal for us. If you have watched Manu you should know that it's all worth it.

But as for Yao for Z, no thanks. This must be from a typical Cleveland fan.

LOL very interesting trade scenarios.. something may happen if Yao doesnt live up to expectations. It would be hard to move Yao without giving him a chance, but we waited with EG and look what it got us? nada!

Yao is still new to the NBA has tons of potential but I wonder if having Ewing around is any help to Yao. I remember a quote where Yao said "beating Ewing consistently 1 on 1 helps with his confidence!" haha (great tutor)

Im new to this board but have to admit its pretty interesting reading.. some of the trade scenarios seem workable but not in the Rox favor.

    Since trades are the topic..

I like the personnel we have on this team and I think they will be fine once they gel a lil bettter. Everyone's conforming to a new system and we've seen how well they play when everything clicks. SF is an All-Star although he isnt playing like one lately (this season) his TO's are about the same every year just untimely. He seems to be picking up more travelling calls this year though... but his FG% is way down.. Once his shots start to hit he will be fine. Like it or not he leads this team for better or for worse and with his max contract he is unmovable.

Cat is having a great season (3 pt shooting wise) but his decision making leaves alot to be desired. Overall he is playing better than last season..

JJ is where I expected.. he gets alot of open shots just needs to hit some.

Yao is improving.. slowly (maybe slower than we would like) but improving.

Lets just leave them alone, I think they will be fine. Cato is having a great year! im happy for him.

After the season we can tweak and make some adjustments if needed. Why is Moochie playing so bad lately? any speculations? Also are we hanging onto Meech to dump him at the end of the season?

    J
