I don't think you can trade for someone and then immediately include them in a multiplayer deal.

I also don't think you can trade the TE with other players to make salaries match.

    NVE is a winner.

Last year with Dallas he proved he will do what it takes to win by playing his roll. Dallas had their best season last year, then in the off season they get rid of NVE for Jamison and pick up Walker. Anyone would think that they should be improved but guess what they are not near the team they were with NVE. NVE was the heart of that team in the playoffs and this year they had no heart.

I don't know who our player with heart is going to be. I hope it will be TMac but I don't think it will be. A champion needs that one guy who wears it on his sleeve like Sheed did for the pistons. They needed Sheed because they needed someone who lives and dies with wins and losses.

    NVE could be that guy.

It's not about liking or not liking trades, it's about impossible homerish trades getting posted to no end.

I like Van Exel in the backup role as a sparkplug off the bench (ie. Cassel). If the Rockets get him, I would start Lue since his steady play would mesh better with Yao and he can set the tone of the game by getting Yao off to a good start.

Then once Yao goes to the bench, Van Exel comes in to pick up the pace of the game with Mcgrady. Van Exel would still get the bulk of the minutes and finish most of the games though.

Nick is too old and his knees are shot. We need someone who doesn't need the ball as much. He is also to erratic. We need a derek fisher or brent barry.

If we are going to trade with GS how about Mickael Pietrus? He can really stifle opposing PG's. I would like to have a tall PG that can really play some 1on1 D. All we really need from our PG is tough D and the ability to get get the ball up the court quick without making alot of TO. Tmac and Yoa are going to be handling the ball after half court most of the time.
