The point is, I don't think a player like Cousins will get a max contract, but he could really work well with our team.

Also, the OP calling Aaron Brooks a "non-ISO player" more or less sums up this thread.

Sometimes you can point the issues, other times, it's just better off saying you're a damned idiot.

    This is the latter

That would be a plus trade, to propose something similar to the OP I say we trade him for one of those mail spamming viruses. Those viruses have the potential to sometimes make some decent spam emails!

McHale does suggest ball movement, but we all know that his offense is more of a free to do what you want. When you don't draw up a play, it can be difficult for the the players. As you saw at the end when Harden had the ball a couple of times no one on the team even really moved. So there was no player motion period because McHale gave the green light for Harden to create something. I agree that Harden should have made better decisions near the end, but like i said this is his first taste of starting and being the main man. That's a lot of pressure and with the fact that there was no play from the coach. The coach was just hoping for Harden to come up big. It's a learning experience...:)

Patterson, rebounds 10 games in a season:
    WORTHWHILE INVESTMENT (again)

Trading Harden for Cousins and 2Pat (I can't believe I just typed that) might just keep the Maloofs from selling that team.

no offense but you have to be incredibly thick or know nothing about basketball or the business of basketball to suggest this.

As of the last two months I do not think harden is as elite as we thought. But Like the previous poster said he is young...23...first year in a big role. Id imagine its comparable to the bonehead moments that damion lillard and kyrie Irving have made in their first years in the same role.

But i do believe he can be the best SG in the next couple of years and you just dont give that away.

Not to mention superstars want to play with other superstars. We prob have a lot better chances then anyone else believes of getting chris paul and Howard...solely because of harden.

Now that we got what most consider a superstar. You do not trade him for anything. If we did we would spend the next decade trying to get someone like him back.

Harden needs to be limited on his ball handling at this point. He isnt lebron or even Kobe. We need a PG that he trusts to intiate the offense, and let him act a shooting guard and move with out the ball.

If we can get the ball to harden being freed up with screens and cutting the basket on the pass... He would improve dramatically. Then run set ISO plays later I think he would be a much improved player.

Just think of defense being set up, harden coming off a screen, and cutting hard to the basket...good pass...euro step....and 1.

Cousins could work well with our team, I get what you're saying. But this trade for Cousins would be detrimental to the team on a business standpoint. James Harden, Lin, and Parsons are helping to sell tickets and merchandise (beards). No way in hell can Cousins generate such kind of money for Les, nor can he help get us an equal or more amount of wins than Harden.

If we never signed Harden, then yes Cousins would be a great first step at getting to contender status. But our franchise's future is already here in the hands of James Harden, and we might only be one step away from contending. Cousins has a good skillset, but taking him would be 1 step forward and 4 steps back lol.

NO. I'd like to keep our CORE together for another year... by CORE I mean HARDEN, LIN (yes him too), PARSONS and ASIK.

Unless we have a chance at an established superstar... Dwight or CP3

I would not trade any of the core for players like J.Smith or Calderon or anyone like that. Must be a bone fide superstar to break up what we got going here.

I don't think the OP realised that without Harden we would probably not have been in the playoffs, trading Harden would be the biggest mistake Morey ever makes because Harden was such a beast in the regular season
