IMO harden compared to Paul George, is definitely the more talented player. His ability to get to the rim, shoot and pass is second only to Lebron James.

With that said, as a fan i'd rather have Paul George on my team. Why?
I love/appreciate effort, passion and intensity
I hate supporting/following immensely well-paid/talented/gifted athletes who quit or don't even try.
Simply put i rather root for the less talented player who tries harder than the more gifted one who can sometimes give two ****s about it.

Paul George may only be a good to very good offensive player but he is an elite defensive player. Harden is a great offensive player, probably top 3 in the NBA... but he is a terrible defensive player, not because of ability, but simply because of effort.

Zeeshan, Kobe was still playing defense in '05.

The best offensive players on other teams are still respected by their teammates though.

It's well known there's a large gap between what Jaime does vs what others teams do for their best players.

Harden does things that hurts his team's chemistry. You're probably one of Harden's nut-gobblers who thinks that bench reaction vs GS meant nothing

    #championshipsarewonbydefense

Hopefully he matures and/or the new coach can make a man of him.

Kobe also does that thing where he does not set the NBA record for most turnovers for a season.

Well, yeah. You don't have to worry about turnovers when you don't pass. :p

Nice. Maybe Harden should chuck like Kobe did instead of trying to get his teammates going.

After being carried to his first 3 by the greatest player of his era and then playing on by far the best roster in the NBA after multiple first round exits & even failing to make the playoffs with Shaq?

You are still pushing that said rhetoric where you act as if superstar plers who have won rings did it all by themselves. Kobe has won nothing without a big man (Sometimes two) who could score. He also had great coaches and more overall talented teams. Aren't you the same guy who said you wanted Lowry over Harden just two days ago? Isn't Lowry the worst shooter in NBA playoffs history?

Paul George just shut down DeRozan for 7 games while leading the playoffs in scoring at the same time. Stop making stuff up.

Just so I am clear . .. you are of the mind that if someone else hit that shot
the celebration would have been bigger and better?

    Just Curious

True, but that's what happens when a best player isn't respected.

Team chemistry was lost long ago.

Let's just hope Beard matures and/or we get a real coach.

Lol, these threads always get bad after elimination... There's a few gems and then there's these "trade our star for who the **** cares"...

Lol, I would have loved forums back in the day,"uh guys... We should trade Hakeem for Larry Johnson " WTF, lol, and no.... I don't think Harden is Hakeem (we had that stupid thread too), but PG13 for Harden???? ROFL, thankfully Morey is gm, and no matter how much I don't like some of his moves, at least he's not going to be completely asinine.

Clutch should start a sub-sub section of the forum (not even in random trade ideas) for these insane threads. It should be titled "random off my med ideas".

PS now if you can add Paul George, sure, but not for Harden. Lol

True... Harden isn't the only problem.

Dwight has zero leadership and Beverley isn't good enough to be a leader.

The only thing you posted that's laughable is this.

    Dream's heart was never questioned

James Harden is like Gilbert Arenas. Yes he can score but can't play a lick of defense or lead a team. His whole game is predicated on drawing fouls while going to the basket and shooting 3s.

    The dude has no accountability.
I question his iq besides the occasional lob to a big man
I question his ability to be coached
    He is one dimensional

    He dates trash
He goes to strip bars frequently
He frequently misses team buses and does not travel with the team

If you want a winning team you can't be caught up with trashy selfish players.

Although this is a business, it is still a team sport and it takes cohesiveness to be a winning team and you can't get that with Harden's brand of basketball.
