OP's talents are wasted on basketball. Such a mind should be turned to the real problems of today like figuring out which groceries go in the bottom of my sack.

 

I've been a fan of the Rockets my whole life, but if they traded for KOBE I'm done. My least favorite player of all time. Not to mention that it's impossible.

I doubt Kobe will be healthy for more than half the season. So there is that.

Even if he is healthy, he is so slow now that he's a huge liability on defense. So there is that.

Even if those things are true, LA cannot trade him UNLESS he demands a trade. Their fan base would be outraged. So there is that.

And you really want to trade two starters and probably our best bench player in Papanikolau for an over the hill Kobe when our biggest issue right now is depth?
