yea when he's healthy right..oh wait he wasnt, but HOW MANY TIMES ARE WE GONNA HAVE TO TELL YOU THIS!
Man these Tracy lovers are coming out of the wood works now that its close to the beginning of the season. Well you guys can have your "Returning to Elite status All Star" I have better things invisioned for this team in the future, and I'm sure Morey does too.
McGrady is finished i think. His knee could really be bummed hint Francis. The guy used to be a stud and the 1st round days played a tole in his brain and made him mentally soft. It's a make or break year with him. He could pop back up in his 05 form or simply tap out. At the rate Morey is going he looks to be more interested in the long term health of the franchise.
First round?.. this Way more than that. its about Tmac being better than Joe. Its two diffrent dimesions. its not about an all-star is about a SUPERstar. rockets believe they still have that in Mac. 330 other players are srubs next to tmac. the other 330 players r hired by teams to play compliment the superstar T Mac. First round?.. dnt be silly. Its more than that, its deeper. Sorry but Joe Johnson IMO is jst not even close to enough. Rockets knw what they have in McGrady. Moery knws. Les Knows. its why he is still here. That is why we didint get Carter. That is why we didint make a move with Detroit. Its Hard to replace a Superstar, with an agressive guard who is very good, but nowhere near what they lookin for.
Atlanta lacks a real second 20 ppg scoring threat, so maybe defenses were keyed in on taking him out of the game. Yes, Bibby can score a bit, but not like before. So they traded for Jamal to add some offense. Joe Johnson is that team's only All Star, so I don't know if they'd be so keen on flushing him for future cap space. But I don't pay their bills, so who knows.
IMO.. A player is considered a superstar because more than likely he will attempt 20 to 27 shots per game avg. anywhere from 25-32ppg at some time in his career. A person is considered simply an all star because he will only take anywhere from 14-19 shots per game avg. between 18-24 ppg at some time during his career. Just like Carmelo was considered a superstar a couple years ago when he averaged 28.9 points per game. Then, he took less shots and his team started winning. Here is a good example why we don't need the SUPERstar Tracy that needs alot of touches.
Not until Tracy is starting and all the way back to his productive self. Otherwise its just a bad move for the Hawks.
Uh, sign me up means....Yes, I like this deal. And it is all about me baby....I am the one posting and spelling out actual words. DD
What are you talking about? McGrady isn't even guaranteed to come back and be able to play the game again. Him regaining a form that makes him better than Joe Johnson is today is very unlikely. But even if he does so what? This team is not contending this year and probably not next year either. So two years from now McGrady is 32 and in severe decline (if he is even still playing) while Joe Johnson will have just turned 30 (and to this point has been durable). I'm being completely serious. Do you watch the games? McGrady, one way or another, will be done as an All Star caliber player in the next 2-3 seasons and I'm being very generous when I say that. Nobody in their right mind keeps the older, injury prone player over the younger, durable player even if the older guy was better in his prime (which he has long passed). If it was possible financially to swap Joe Johnson straight up for McGrady Morey would do it in a heartbeat.
You are making too much sense! You prooooobably want to post in another thread. These T-Mac haters are a little under your pay grade.
