Couple quick points: -Not sure what about our history under Stone shows that the Rockets are wheeling and dealing. I see no evidence this season they are looking to do a damn thing except maybe bundle next years picks for picks further out. -Not sure the Rockets have a “favorite” player right now controversial or not. I see no evidence Stone is looking to move Reed and that the league sees him on that contract as the #3 picks as a “prize”. I think the league would say that he’s a talented potential bench scorer but they don’t love the idea of trading for him knowing that they’ll have to extend or trade him before he’s extension eligible to avoid a big dispute. Jabari I think the league sees him as a solid rotation player, but nobody sees him as a foundational piece. Important versatile starter who can play big minutes yes. Future star no.
Jalen Brown could of been a potential star in Houston. Sixers must of not wanted Durant. I would of traded Amen, FVV and Picks. Would of had a line up of Smart, Brown, Durant, Jabari, Sengun But Rather roll out Amen here in houston, because you act like he the best ever at 18ppg. Brick Layer. But But, he can dunk and play defense!!!!!
Not sure if I agree with your assessment of the "goon", but certainly LeBron does agree (thinking back to the 2026 playoffs). Come to think of it, Embiid matches the definition of a real center, if he can stay healthy. Make that a big IF.
The only potential deal might be KD for a future 1st , two or three 2nds and Butler’s expiring contract imo. I would like to get Black from Orlando if they want KD. I mentioned KD to the Magic because he has been practicing with Banchero. I think the chances of him being traded to Orlando is low.
We would have to take back a bad contract. No way they give up Bane or Wagner, either of which would be awesome for the Rockets. They’d love to unload Suggs or Banchero on us, but I don’t think even Stone is that dumb.
Trading Jabari and or Sheppard for key depth piece? Huh? What? For the 100th time are we confounding other’s interest with what Stone is going to do? Sorry I don’t believe any of this
Codman seems like a nice guy and I know a lot of old-timers on the board are fond of his riddles. I find them tiresome and am not sure a single one of them has been born fruit. Of course, that’s the beauty of the riddle. It can never be proven right or wrong. If he finds it entertaining and others find it entertaining more power to him and his followers.
