Not worth Asik if the Rockets don't land Howard. Rockets' front court defense would be a sieve 'cause CB is soft.
In theory, Bosh would actually be a very good fit for the Rockets. But that's also assuming Asik is next to him at center. If you give up Asik to get Bosh, it all seems pointless. But it's a moot point since acquiring Bosh would be difficult and perhaps illogical. He'll be a free agent soon, and like Josh Smith, doesn't deserve a max contract but will command one in free agency. PG - Beverley SG - Harden SF - Parsons PF - Bosh C - Asik That's a great starting line-up, IMO. Bosh gives you a proven stretch 4 and Asik is there to do all the dirty work. Tough to see Miami wanting Lin, Robinson and Jones/D-Mo, though.
Bosh is an older, longer Patrick Patterson without injury issues, in other words, not much of an upgrade over a confident Patterson. Oh wait, we don't have him anymore.
I think Bosh would be a bigger impact on a different team. I'd take a shot on him, but don't see it happening.
