It's a perimeter league. Christian wood will never be a number 1. He may develop into a great 2nd option. He's got a lot of room for improvement. Starting with strength.

Wasn't just defense. Harden also got way more assists in those games and created more offense.

Beal is much easier to defend. Everyone knows he's gonna shoot. And he's not even that efficient of a scorer.

I know he is a shiny toy but he is already 28 and we have a bunch of injury prone starters. Plus we probably still can’t beat LAL & Nets. Let them get old while we stack up for the future

I think it’s best to keep Wood & Wall(great leader and mentor for the young guys) and slowly trade away Gordon, Oladipo, House, PJ for as much draft capital possible

I’m fine with letting Walls contract run out. He seems like a great person to help mentor and bring a new culture with for the young guys like Jones, KPJ, Martin JR, and everybody we about to draft

Victor, tucker + another player and some picks for Beal

dude is the leading scorer in this league and could excel on a team that has the players we have.

reunited with John wall, wood is a star. EG is in between role player and all star. Nice young players.

We more badly need rebounding (PF), and maybe another actual PG.

Wood should be the #1 on this current team.

It's not about the league, it's about each team's personnel.

Just like Zion is #1 on Pelicans.

Just like Giannis is #1 on Bucks.

Just like Embiid is #1 on 76ers.

I don't think we're going to get in on Beal because the timing probably isn't right, but including Oladipo in the potential trades seems like the opposite of what we would want to do. If we're trading for Beal it's to be so we are at least a fringe title contender the next few years and for that to be feasible Oladipo would probably need to be a part of our formula.

    Something like

    Rockets get
    Beal

    Wizards get
    Mason Jones
    Gordon
    Divencenzo
    DJ Wilson
A bunch of our Nets picks/swaps
    two seconds from Milwaukee

    Bucks get
    Tucker

People are this eager to cash in everything for Beal?

Washington Wizards part 2, but now in the West?

This is disgusting. Why would anyone want this ruining the culture the Rockets are building? At least Oladipo actually plays hard, and tries on defense.

I want Beal as much as the next guy, but have we not seen enough evidence that wall / Beal is not a competitive combination?

53% eFG on 26 shots per game is pretty darn efficient. Harden's career avg is 52% on 17 shots

Pretty solid evidence that Beal attended one of Harden's basketball camps

Thats not great for TS%. Harden use to be well over 60%. That number puts Beal at 62 right behind Eric Gordon and according to this board, Eric Gordon is trash.
