just because he is a horrible shooter does not mean he is a post player. But yeah the j*zz are just dripping with front line talent. Maury should call them, maybe.
He is fiercer to deal with in the paint then Scola. Much more of a go to guy then Scola. He would be a massive upgrade at PF.

Asik that is. I have a weird feeling the Magic are fond of him. Asik, martin, white and scola for howard and turk? Sign Gordon and dragic, cut turk and let lee go. Dragic/ Gordon/lamb Parsons/ jones Patterson/ dmo Howard/ Camby Top 4 team in west while developing the youngsters. If howard wont stay, still have a great young core and alot of cap space. Or trade him to Nets. Thoughts?

Other than the fact that you can't trade someone you just traded for... This is an awesome idea!!! Let's trade all of our young potential for a player who will not be here in a year and another one who will be hurt all the time and kill our salary cap for yrs to come!!!
Did you not see me ask how long it would take til we are able to trade asik? Im sorry but i think patterson/ gordon combo is slightly better than martin/scola because of defense liabilties, at a fraction of the cost. Jefferson could still be traded for with a package around dmo and jones... the only draftee that will be worth anything is lamb, jones and white are just athletic players with good size (stromile, hill, twill)
And if asil cant be traded yet then insert lowry. Still better than the Nets can offer. But im pretty sure Dwight has black mailed the Magic GM.... I havent given up hope yet

I really like that. I see Lamb having the potential to be a great 6th man his rookie campaign and that starting lineup is tops defensively. This also will give our young guys some good minutes for a possible deadline deal
I'd consider it if we got rid of Scola and Martin, but at the same time all that he is going to do is perpetuate the mediocrity. Jefferson would be a final piece to the puzzle type guy, not someone you build around IMO.
