Safe to say that Booker is slightly better. I just do not think the asking price will justify what we will have to give up.
If for whatever reason Phoenix does a 180 this week and willing to trade Booker, there are frameworks for such a deal that would not involve FVV. I mean FVV is probably in there, mostly because I think if Phoenix is trading Booker, then theyi'll also want to shed all their bad salaries in the process. But if they just want the most assets back, you can give them all the expiring vets alongside Reed Sheppard for the deal. I say this because if the Rockets are trading all their stuff for Booker, keeping FVV as a backup PG would be pretty useful. And he can always return on a discounted deal in the offseason. Regardless, comparing Booker to any current Rockets player is pointless. The Rockets want to get him in addition to the young core, not replacing it.
It was actually isolated for just this season. But, as you said, the gap is not as wide as you would think. Jalen may be getting there. I’d rather just keep drafting players and have them push our starters for more playing time. When someone prices themselves off our team, we have a replacement waiting in the wings. Then keep waiting for a Shai or Harden, someone who hasn’t been completely unlocked, to shake loose.

The way the chemistry and locker-room currently is, just makes no sense at all to make any major move. The only thing I see is possibly upgrading Jock. We won't make moves until this off-season.
Who says Jalen is as good as Booker? The fact that Jalen has shown the ability to be an A- Booker at 22 years old is a great thing. Is it worth giving up an A- Booker and a massive amount of assets for the actual Booker (who is 6 years older)?
Do the comparison with FVV. That is who he would be replacing. I don't want Booker or Fox, but if we trade for either it will be FVV that is the odd man out. Ant is about the only SG that might be available that I would give Jalen and Picks up for.
That's why I dont understand why ppl coming year 10 polish version of booker to Jalen, booker wasn't booker in his year 4, ppl coming booker year 7-10 vs rookie to 4 Jalen is flat out stupid
Idk what's up with Booker's 3pt shooting this season. That was one of the main reasons why I was okay trading Green for him earlier.
HahaHa. Computer glitch. I really not that invested in the Booker situation. Getting Booker would really screw up our flexibility going forward for, in my opinion, a moderate improvement over FVV. No way I trade Jalen for him.
