Rockets won't make a big trade this deadline

Rockets won't make a big trade this deadline.

The most I see is Kaman which would actually solidify us as the 8th seed. Basically Dwight's not coming, Deron's not coming, Gasol is not coming. I just have a hunch that nothing big is going to turn out. Why? Because the news is everywhere else now, people talking about other teams making trades etc. Rockets have been quiet, no real rumors other than the Bogut one but that one is done.

Now that there is less than a day left, i say they will get Gasol and Kaman.

    Another guess:

Kevin Martin to the Clips for Bledsoe, Gomes and Foye.

The Clips are looking for an SG who is SG-sized. Martin, with his shooting ability is a good fit with Chris Paul and Griffin.

The Rockets get (1) some salary relief (Gomes is owed $4 mil next year, Foye exiring), (2) a high upside younster on a cheap contract in Bledsoe.

It's always quiet before the Rockets make their big deal. Morey does a good job keeping things on the down low. Don't count him out yet.

Screw that--Bledsoe is terrible. This would be $0.50 on the dollar for Martin. It doesn't sound like the Clips plan to make a trade, but if they did, the deal I would prefer would be Martin + Dalembert for DeAndre.

hahahahahahahahah, "big deals" yes, Morey and making "big deals" are one in the same, I can't count on one hand how many "big deals" he has made for this team, I just can't keep count.

:grin:This is exactly what I expect. For Morey to take a run at the 2010 draft busts now. We will have the 09ers and 2010ers on the same team!

    Ron Artest trade?

    Tracy Mcgrady/Kevin Martin/Knicks 3-way trade?

Both are "big deals." This is more activity than what vast majority of teams do.

I think a deal with the Sixers is coming.

    Kevin Martin
    Patrick Patterson

    for

    Evan Turner
    Andres Nocioni
    -------------------------
    Philadelphia
    1. Holiday
    2. Martin
    3. Iguodala
    4. Brand
    5. Hawes
    *Lou Williams
    *Thaddeus Young
    *Patrick Patterson
    *Nikola Vucevic

    Houston...

The chance to pair Evan Turner and Chandler Parsons on the wings for the next 10 years.

I wish we would dump scola and martin for jamison. That would give the rockets big cap relief and they would still be in the playoff push. That would also send clevland over ny and give the rockets a better pick. 2 bird with 1 big ass rock.
