Bad thing is he got every other rumor right. Someone prob messed up the trade just like last year. Once things got leaked other teams or who know who tries to sabotage it.

This is stupid. Nene's deal was not guaranteed. The price for Carrington was 2 firsts. I get being unhappy with paying a first and Capela for Carrington, but that was the price. if you say that the Rockets gave up a first for dumping Nene and Green, you know little about basketball, business, math and people. If you hate the Rockets so much, a Rockets fan forum seems like the wrong place to be. It's one thing to try to be objective and not just lap up everything the team gives you, but it's another to be pissed off about stuff that is stupid. I guess I forget how the internet works.
if you can't objectively see that we didn't do well at the deadline relative to other teams and that we are still not contenders, i can't help you. but i won't suggest that you leave the forum for your opinion like you did ...even though i've been supporting this site for half my life. go rockets. f#ck Tillman.
Shams One month removed from the NBA’s trade deadline, teams are jockeying for playoff positioning, lottery odds or smoothing out issues on their roster and around their organization. This year’s trade deadline brought six major deals: Marcus Morris to the Clippers; the Robert Covington-Clint Capela four-team trade; Andre Iguodala to Miami; D’Angelo Russell to Minnesota and Andrew Wiggins to Golden State; Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson III to Philadelphia; and Andre Drummond to Cleveland. Both L.A. teams beefed up their rosters post-trade deadline, with Dion Waiters and Markieff Morris going to the Lakers and Reggie Jackson choosing the Clippers. But it’s not just about the moves that happened. The moves that did not occur, but were discussed, were interesting, too. Denver attempted to make a major trade just prior to the deadline, according to sources. Jrue Holiday had been a significant Nuggets target, but the New Orleans Pelicans never showed interest to move him, particularly after Holiday made his desire clear to remain with the franchise. The Nuggets are currently 42-20 and one game out of the second seed in the Western Conference. The Suns also made a late push for Orlando’s Aaron Gordon, sources said. Gordon, who along with Derrick Jones Jr., put on a show at the NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest, has had a strong second half of the season. He is expected to be pursued in the offseason by multiple teams. Aside from Miami, one other team made a late push for Oklahoma City’s Danilo Gallinari: Dallas, per sources. Meanwhile, sources say the Lakers offered a package involving Alex Caruso and draft compensation for Derrick Rose, which was rejected as the Pistons had set a high value on the former NBA MVP. The Lakers stood pat at the deadline — and VP of basketball operations Rob Pelinka instead upgraded the roster post-deadline. The Lakers remain the No. 1 seed in the West at 47-13. More news and notes from around the NBA… Dallas Mavericks The Mavericks have a standing formal job offer to franchise and NBA icon Dirk Nowitzki, according to sources. Nowitzki has not yet wanted to accept a formal role. Dallas officials said during Nowitzki’s final season a year ago that he would be given a position of his choosing upon retirement. Denver Nuggets Denver considered several veteran players, including Iman Shumpert and Joakim Noah, prior to signing former Lakers guard Troy Daniels, sources say. The Nuggets still have one roster spot open. Los Angeles Lakers After reaching an agreement to sign Dion Waiters, the Lakers continue to monitor the market for a shooter, such as J.R. Smith, sources say. Smith worked out for the Lakers on Monday, according to sources. L.A. would need to release someone to create roster space for Smith. New York Knicks New York is expected to express interest to re-sign Maurice Harkless, sources say, with playoff contenders planning to pursue him in free agency as well. Philadelphia 76ers 76ers star Joel Embiid is hopeful to return on Wednesday against Detroit, sources said. Embiid has been sidelined since suffering a sprained left shoulder on Feb. 26. Jamal Crawford Free agent Jamal Crawford wants to continue his NBA career and is in shape and prepared to sign with a team, according to sources. Crawford, a 19-year NBA veteran and three-time Sixth Man of the Year, spent last season in Phoenix.
