    When Andre Drummond is your best player, well, I would just put a brown bag over my head and just glad that we are going back to full rebuild.

    The 2020 free agent class is terrible. The Pistons should’ve just let Drummond opt in for next year and they would still have the cap space for the highly anticipated 2021 free agent class.

    he’s a FA. You can bet they tried to get a first from someone. Instead worst case scenario the team is even worse (better draft pick) OR better because Christian Wood just becomes even better.

    While true, there is no excuse for trading him for nothing. The 2020 free agent class is garbage, and even if Drummond opted in for next season, he is off the Pistons’ payroll before the highly anticipated 2021 free agency period. Either they should have traded him for more, or let him opt in and move him next year at the deadline.
