Head will get dealt, I just hope its not a giveaway. I predicted a Head-for-Acie Law swap in the prediction thread. It seems to work well for both sides: the Hawks have no bench and we don't really have a third PG. Plus, there's the whole 'bring Acie back to Texas' angle. He's underachieved as a pro thus far, maybe a change of scenery will do the trick. After watching him in college i'd certainly be willing to try and find out.
every year of his career luther head is talked about in trades. every deadline. every summer. everyone wants him gone for a second round pick. you know what? he always stays. i say, no way he gets traded. i say, ron and his ending contract will be gone.
There's not enough time to properly evaluate the team at full-health before the deadline. I'm thinking no trades in-season, with maybe a couple of whoppers this summer.

Im not following memphis at all this year. So dont know how good or bad mike is. But is their a reason they would be inclined to do this trade? If Conoley is so much better then Rafer why would Memphis let him go and on top of that increase their cap number.
Lets just say if guys on here would bark and yell at Rafer for missing wide open 3 pointers then guys would lose their voice with Conoley being left wide open. From his Ohio State days til now he doesn't have a consistent jump shot
ESPN According to ESPN we have 2 trade exceptions expiring in Feb. No way Morey lets them expire w/o using them
Yeah but with Luther having an expiring contract doesnt it make a deal seem more probable this time around?
I think we trade Ron for a higher grade PG - clear some space at the SF spot for Wafer, Battier and T-Mac while addressing a need.
Luther's gone. I think there's probably a greater than 50/50 chance that another bench player is gone as well.
Ron is a better choice if we can't sign him for reasonable $ after the year he is having....... if we can then Battier and whoever besides Yao and Scola and Barry should be shopped. Yao is obvious Scola is a hard worker and we need that Barry is a rare specialist that is good to have around Ron or Bat for D the rest trade them for better players or to the playground they are from for better playground players.
Toronto trades to Miami O'Neal Miami trades Marion to rockets Bulls trade hughes to Toronto Toronto gets lot of cap space Bulls trade Gordon to rockets Rockets trade mcGrady to chicago it works for money but probably not for the teams
