2 questions we should ask ourselves regarding kaman: what will it take to acquire him? would it be worth the risk? assuming it'd be one of our wings, i'd say yes.
Chase would certainly be in a package. Clippers would be happy to pair him to Aminu at SF for a future 5-7 years

Martin and Patterson and possibly T Will are the only keepers. Scola is terrible, he not only gives it up on the defensive end but every damn game the opposing bigs have career nights on the boards also.

DM missed our best chance to get a quality big during the offseason. Now our players are quickly losing value because the team is just losing badly. So good luck to DM. Well, he was after all responsible for the make-up of this team. Looking at the bright side, I hope we get a higher pick in the draft.
Clippers have THREE needs in a trade 1) Get rid of Baron Davis contract - we pretty much can't help there 2) Get a solid starting defensive SF - Chase is not going to cut it, I don't know if they want Battier cos of his age and contract situation. 3) Get a young PG to pair with Gordon and Griffin - They would want AB or Lowry. So the best thing we can do is involve a three way with another team to get rid of Davis, and then give them AB/Lowry + Battier for Kaman.
Must get big man. No matter what combination of players we potentially trade for, if one of them can't protect the lane, then we will have the same problem.
I can see some sort of scenario where Morey goes after Kaman at the deadline, especially if the team is still looking to make a playoff push by then.
I believe that Iggy and Martin would co-exist perfect in the Rox offense AND defense. If we were to offer up maybe Shane, AB, Hill + fillers we may be able to nab him from Philly. That would also give them a chance to develop their 2nd overall pick Turner. Good deal for both teams IMO.

I remember reading on RealGm, I believe, that the Bobcats wanted to get Baron Davis back in Charlotte. 3 way trade to get Kaman.
Who exactly would you propose we deal? I'm sure Morey can snag us a Speights in a deal like that. He hasn't recieved the opportunity to be a starting PF/C with all the other big men there and he has a better post game than Hill, IMO.
I wish there was a way to make this happen. These two would really cure what ails this team. I'd rather see them brought in then Melo or Granger or any of the other names mentioned on this site, even if it meant losing Scola or Brooks.
