Maybe Mobley is playing bad lately to lessen his trade value, so that he won't get traded off a team where he wants to stay. Look for his production to pick up after Thursday.

You are way too sensitive. It was just for fun. And it was Stevie who had not been to Mobley's house in like 2 months or something. They were not serious. Mobley is just not all happy like Matt Bullard. :) Mobley is all gangsta or tries to be. He doesn't seem too happy. Maybe he has changed.

I am sure they are good friends. But it doesn't seem as strong in public.

LOL barbourgdg. Steve would BREAK DOWN if we traded Moochie!!!

Too bad about Sterling's attitude, but then again with the Clips anything is possible. Remember last year's draft day trading fiasco...

With that said, I'd pull the trigger on BOTH the Grant and Miller trades if the terms were right. Miller/Piatkoski for Cat/Hawkins is a no-brainer.

The Miami trade is a bit more difficult from the Rockets perspective, but if Miami was willing to take Moochie and Taylor in addition to Rice's contract and give up Best (contract up next year), Carter and Ellis (contracts up in a year) in addition to Grant, the Rockets could pull it off without committing salary cap suicide. They might have to let Posey go at the end of the year, though.

    Miller/ Francis / Best
    Francis/ Piatkowski/ Posey
    Posey/ T-Mo / Nachbar
    Grant / Griffin / L. Ellis
    Yao / Cato

Not a bad lineup... oh well only two more days of wishful thinking left...

That is a surprise about Steve and Cat. Although I dont live in Screwston anymore, I would think I would have heard this here before, right? Anyway, I know that it has been posted that the Clips aren't looking to trade but since everyone is going along with the trades for Miller I'll throw out my own Clip deal.

What about sending EG and maybe Posey to the Clips for Odom? This past summer I was definitely in the get Odom at all costs corner. Even though that didn't work out I think that bringing him (Odom) in would help the team even more now. It does leave us a little weak at the 4, but hell we are weak there now anyway. What it does give us is a playmaker at forward who has played ina an offense that utilizes the post for a couple of seasons. Steve, Cat and Odom on the break is ridiculous and Oodom's passing would greatly help our half court O IMHO. I have no idea what it would take to get him. To be honest I would really like to keep all the players we have now, but if Odom is available he is not much older than EG and I think his game could link what Francis/Cat do and what Yao does.
