I think the Nets are trying to go all in on Howard. They probably would not even talk to any other teams about anything until that is done. Which will then be past the trade deadline and nothing will happen.

    I LIKE THIS TOO....A LOT!

    Lowry *-Flynn/lull
    Lee-T.Will
    Granger*-Bud (lets Party!)
    Gasol*-PaTP
    Da Bear-Monte

This is a balanced and well rounded team for sure......

My favorite guy to go after is Danny Granger. Obviously becuase he is the most likely guy and at small forward offers a spot we need to be upgraded at. Chandler Parsons can play multiple positions and still get in minutes.

I just want all the 2009ers gone. Take 2nd round picks just to get rid of them.

    Philly really needs to rebuild.....

    Iguadola for Budinger+Hill+Thabeet+Morris+NY Pick.

    Bear/Smith
    Scola/Patterson
    Iguadola/Parsons
    Martin/Lee
    Lowry/Dragic

Iguadola would help facilitate offense. Parsons is a lengthier defender but AI is one of (if not the best) perimeter defender in the league right now. We don't likely have a 2012 1st round pick at this point but we still have Motie and Llull marinating overseas and possibly available next year. You look to upgrade the overall talent in the front court as well at the deadline or next offseason.

Stern had a very good reason last time. Why this time?

    Yet you critique me, lawl.

Its the same thing. They are both Random trade threads. Neither is different in any ways.

Isn't this just the "Random Deadline Trades" thread? What's the difference? I just read through the entire thing and can't see what's special about it, with all due respect. I've seen every trade idea in here somewhere else.

Philly definitely does not need to rebuild. They've been doing that for the past 4 or 5 years and have potential studs in Jrue Holiday, Turner, Vuvecic & Lou Williams. Spencer Hawes is always very young (23) and was showing a ton of improvement this year before his injury.

Iggy would be nice to have, but Philly is looking for somebody who can create their own shot right now and score, not projects for rebuilding.

Larry bird will NOT do this. Granger is worth more than that. Give them Lee and Bird might start talking.

I like your thuoghts BUT they have no value at all with all their contract not being picked up. They are all just for rent at best (and really not worth even 2nd rounders); If a team wants one of them he will be cut at season's end and signed for nothing. "First round cap filler" is all they are now.

The original idea was to make a official trade deadline 2012 thread.
    Spin offs will always exist.
