I don't think i've seen him hit an open jumper all season... Yeah he's athletic and plays some defence but terrence williams can fill his role and be more productive, i'm sure he wouldn't be that hard to move... Thoughts?
That's why he's top 5 in 3 point Percentage Isn't it a bit early to be hitting the Fosters down unda?
There are definitely some guys that need to be moved before Courtney Lee. Let's not trade away one of our only 2 way players.
Yeah, I've personally seen Courtney Lee miss almost 60% of his shots, especially 3 point shots. Obviously, with him missing so many shots, he ought to be traded.
funny you should say that, thats my last name but seriously i got League pass broadband for christmas and besides on the fastbreak (from what i've seen) he hasn't hit jack S**t...
Should have said: "I don't think i've seen him hit an open jumper <strike>all season</strike> since Christmas."
People I'd trade before Courtney Lee Yao Jeffries Hayes Smith Williams Budinger Hill Battier Brooks Miller Martin , in that order. He'll probably never be more than a role player his whole career but he'll be, if not already, a damned good one. Complaining about his performance right now? Shooters get slumps and the team, collectively, blows.
Lee's a very solid 2-way player. He's not superstar material, but he's capable of starting on a successful squad, as he did with the Eastern Conference champion Magic in his rookie season. I would not be opposed to cutting ties with Lee in a blockbuster deal, but my hope is that he will become an integral piece on our potentially revamped roster after the deadline. Part of the problem is the log jam on the wing, as he's fighting for PT with a very capable cast of perimeter players. Once Morey parts ways with Budinger/Battier/Williams, Lee will have the opportunity to showcase his talent with increased minutes. He's only playing 19 minutes/game in the current rotation, compared to 25 with ORL and 33 with NJ. Lee's been struggling to find his stroke over the last 2 weeks, but once his role expands/minutes increase he'll be able to establish consistency and a true sense of identity on the floor.
this guy actually goes to the rim looking for dunks and can hit 3's really well and is one of our best defenders... no trade
miss almost 60% of his 3 point shots..... That's just a pessimistic way of saying he is an over 40% 3 point shooter, which would be a GREAT percentage!!!!!!!!! And guess what, he actually is shooting over 40%!!!! He's a 41.3% 3 point shooter this season. His threes are not a problem and not a reason for him to be traded.
