Wouldn't Tracy and Kyle Lowry make sense for Iggy + Dalembert + some $$ to offset that trade kicker? Doesn't Lowry have Philadelphia connections? Hasn't Philly been looking for a PG?

    Then call up Will Conroy?

Yep. Personally, I have no problem with Dalembert for 1 more year, I think he could be a great backup for Yao, but I know my opinion doesnt matter, Les and DM's do. But, giving up a young talent in Ariza (even though most of Houston is dissapointed in his thus far) means we should get something else. I'd take a future draft pick or Young/Speights.

Plus, losing Ariza means more PT for Iggy, Landry, and Bud.

LOL, I would consider the trade if Battier is involved, but when it comes down to the trade including Ariza, do it in a heartbeat!

Vince Carter for Tracy McGrady again? No way, this guy is off his rocker.

Iggy and Sam D has been rumored for so long there's no way they can't be talking and trying to take the "proposal" to the next level.

Battier sadly, would be one to go for the right deal and only the right deal. I know Morey will have the best interest in the club thats number one but at the same time he's obviously got much respect for what Shane's done for us thru the years.

Yao's going to be coming back to a totally different revamped Rockets next year and hopefully we'll have another duo or big three ready to take us to the promise land.... hopefully.

Jawad Williams? Oops, that's gonna hurt our side and they would reap the benefit of this trade, I bet DM would yell hell no at them.

Maybe DM would like some money to sign a real sg like Joe Johnson.

    Sounds very plausible to me.

I love Lowry but I would rather see him go then Brooks (unless there is another deal in place to bring in a PG). This team wouldn't gain much if it swapped Iggy's scoring for Brooks'. Not to mention a Lowry/Conroy combo is a bit redundant.

I would do the tmac for iggy n dalembert, but I wldnt want 2 give them brooks,i'd rather
Give them ariza since iggy can just fill in his spot....and battier, well in my opinion,I want
Him on our roster cuz he motivates the team and is,well not the heart and soul of the team
But maybe the kidney of the team lol,and to top it off,who will gaurd kobe!!!
And h**l no I wld not trade tmac 4 vince,i'd rather let his contract expire

If DM had faith in bringing in one of those stars even with enough money to offer don't you think he wouldn't have signed Ariza and Andersen in the first place? Would Joe Johnson still consider Houston an appealing destination when the team fell off so far in the playoffs run this season with the likes of Jermaine Taylor playing major minutes to fill in the gap at SF/SG?

What does signing Ariza and Andersen have to do with signing a max level free agent this offseason?

I don't think the MLE can be held to use for the following season. Am I correct?

Lowry would be useless in Philly with Iverson AND Lou Williams. Williams is their PG for the future, so again, Lowry would be a back-up. I think Lowry fits better here, too, and already has established chemistry with Landry/Budinger.

I don't know what the heck you are talking about. Ariza and Andersen takes up cap space and that's what prevents us from handing out a max contract. Morey clearly wasn't planning on signing a max level free agent.

All I have to say is Iggy isn't the future the Rockets need. He is a decent player but not the right guy for us.

Maybe Jrue Holiday might be a possibility, they have a chance to draft John Wall, so they really don't need him......with a possible combo back court of Lou Williams & John Wall next yr... ;)

With that said the biggest asset I would offer with McGrady would be Taylor and/or Dorsey and that's about it....(might throw in Cook as another Expiring Contract)
