Yep...they just had it on the local sports stations. Unconfirmed, but looks really good.

Raps go from a team with only one scorer to a team with 3 all star calibre scorers. Wow.

Pkus, I have been really impressed with AJ this yar, in Dalls he showed that he egts his offense within the flow of the game, rather than forcing it.

Raps now have a lineup, if as expected, thse go down, of

    PG) Delk, Palacio
    SG) Carter, Murray
    SF) Rose, Curry
    PF) Jamison, Bosh
    C) Moiso, Bateer

Weak at the end positons, but in terms of talent, I think that rivals almost any team in the East, and they have depth. Wow. Look for Carter to explode now that he's not gonna be triple teamed.

Carter....and .... Jaimison are brothers in law...

wonder if that will be a big factor in motivation to rule the east for both those guys...

this would be an awesome trade for Toronto...they get rid of 4 contracts in two trades....that's called being a good GM!!!!!!!

still speculation though...even though it sounds like its going down here in Toronto.

I'm surprised Dallas is willing to give Jamison away so easily. Davis has not played well at all this season. I guess Dallas is just really desperate for a center.

jamison is finally free to play the 4. and i'm pretty sure he'll play the 4 since 1. it's the eastern conference and there's only a handful of 4s that are decent or better 2. it's his 'more suited' position. i think toronto got a serious lineup there.

    delk
    carter
    rose
    jamison
    deadweight

    it's a good scoring team.

dallas finally got smarter. even though davis is old now, he still defends well and rebounds. i think if they pulled this trade off, the mavericks are back in the hunt.

bulls....eh....i can't say much about them. their style of play sucks...and i hate it when the only game on is theirs on WGN:mad:

I believe that Dallas would not be able to trade Delk until more than a month from now. I think that trade is bogus.

As for the Chi-Tor trade, it is probably correct and I think Ernie Johnson mentioned it on tv.

    It should be like this

    Delk
    JRose
    Carter
    Jamison
    Bosh

Bosh has been playing well. Isn't he right a 7 feet?

With these trades Toronto moves into a top contender spot in the East. Credit their GM for great work.

If Toronto is doing those 2 seperate deals that are reported in this thread then they are raping both dallas and Chicago. They would be getting the best players in both deals and be giving up crap to get them.

wow. great trades for toronto, particularly getting jamison teamed back with carter and playing his natural 4 position. all that and in the east looks good.

jalen rose is overrated and hopefully isn't a cancer to that team.

Now it appears that these deals might be less than certain. Will update when more is learned. Rose is saying that he's been told he won't be dealt, although we all know how much that means...

Hey, I have an idea how we could get in on that one... ;)

Houston trades: Eddie Griffin ( ppg, rpg, apg in minutes)
PG Moochie Norris (3.5 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 2.5 apg in 15.4 minutes)
PF Maurice Taylor (9.2 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 0.8 apg in 21.8 minutes)
Houston receives: SF Donyell Marshall (9.3 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 2.1 apg in 27.4 minutes)
PF Jerome Williams (5.8 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 0.6 apg in 29.2 minutes)
PG Alvin Williams (2.6 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 3.5 apg in 17.8 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +5.0 ppg, +12.5 rpg, and +2.9 apg.

Chicago trades: SF Donyell Marshall (9.3 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 2.1 apg in 27.4 minutes)
SF Jalen Rose (15.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4.1 apg in 35.4 minutes)
Chicago receives: SF Morris Peterson (6.5 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 1.1 apg in 11 games)
PF Antonio Davis (7.7 ppg, 10.1 rpg, 1.1 apg in 11 games)
Change in team outlook: -10.4 ppg, +1.1 rpg, and -4.0 apg.

Toronto trades: SF Morris Peterson (6.5 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 1.1 apg in 17.3 minutes)
PF Jerome Williams (5.8 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 0.6 apg in 29.2 minutes)
PG Alvin Williams (2.6 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 3.5 apg in 17.8 minutes)
PF Antonio Davis (7.7 ppg, 10.1 rpg, 1.1 apg in 34.9 minutes)
Toronto receives: Eddie Griffin ( ppg, rpg, apg in games)
PG Moochie Norris (3.5 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 2.5 apg in 11 games)
SF Jalen Rose (15.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4.1 apg in 12 games)
SF Ricky Davis (15.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 4.7 apg in 12 games)
PF Chris Mihm (8.7 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 0.3 apg in 11 games)
Change in team outlook: +20.3 ppg, -6.2 rpg, and +5.3 apg.

Cleveland trades: SF Ricky Davis (15.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 4.7 apg in 36.3 minutes)
PF Chris Mihm (8.7 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 0.3 apg in 16.6 minutes)
Cleveland receives: PF Maurice Taylor (9.2 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 0.8 apg in 5 games)
Change in team outlook: -14.9 ppg, -7.4 rpg, and -4.2 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Houston, Chicago, Toronto and Cleveland being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Houston, Chicago, Toronto and Cleveland had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out unless trade exceptions were used for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

    --------------

Why we do it: We get rid of Moochie and Griffin, while getting some very good rebounding forwards with shorter contracts than our current ones and an upgrade at the backup point guard position.

Chicago: gets rid of a malcontent in Rose and gets decent help back in Peterson (contract up at the end of the season) and Davis (shorter contract than Rose)

Cleveland: gets a decent power forward (plus, they should receive some money and draft picks or so from one of the other teams)

Toronto: They just have to do SOMETHING :).

Both Jamison and Delk played well in Dallas tonight defeating the Nuggets... Both were put in a great deal... maybe as a final "look" before a deal?

I don't know, but I do know they didn't seem to be aware of any trades here on the local news... And they interviewed Jamison who seemed unaware also.

Agreed. On the post game radio show they were talking about how the Mavs need to begin starting Jamison. No talk at all about him being traded any day now...

I was watching tv earlier, FastBreak on ESPN. They said that a Toronto reporter contacted Cuban and was told, I qoute, "Hell No!" when asked if he was going to deal Jamison.
