I remember the poll on this poll was like 60% against this trade. If you look up bobby Jackson you will see someone who will have 2 good games out of 10. Luckily for us it was the lakers game.

Yeah, but we needed a backup PG.

I'd rather have a streaky, veteran PG, than Bonzi.

Plus, I think he would've left after this year. On top of that, we got rid of MJ's contract.

I was for the trade from the get-go.

    :)

Bobby was pretty consistent in his Sacrament Kings days while Bonzi has never really been consisten all his career.

That was like 3 or 4 years ago. I would love the Bjax from the kings days unfortunately that guy doesn't exist.

Guess they were hoping he could get some of his mojo back.

What makes you think he wanted to leave after this year?

He obviously stayed in the first place because he found out his favorite coach is now the coach of the Rockets. With the Rockets only going to be stronger for the playoffs 08-09 season, I don't see why he would opt out of another offer.

    Damn, no edit for Rookies.

I disagree. 80% of the time, when BJax steps on the floor, the team gets a nice boost of energy. Even though his shot may not be right on target at times, the boost he brings to the TEAM as a whole is priceless. He is like the Mike James we had at the beginning of the year, but wiser when it comes to shot selection because of his familiarity with Adelman's system. Hence, Aaron Brooks being 3rd String.

He shot the ball well tonight. We need someone to be hitting from out there.

Its not about this game. We suck at rebounding and bonzi does that well.

We didn't defensive rebound the ball well enough, Last time I check Bonzi is a good offensive rebounder, no that great defensive rebounder.

The real reason we didn't defensive rebound the ball well today. DIKEMBE MUTOMBO.

And just to let you know Yao is out.

We out rebound everybody with or without Bonzi.

bobby is way more consistent then bonzi, he fits into the adelman's offense very well, he is a big time player.

    This is the question:

Wells + Brooks < Bobby Jackson????

I don't think so. Wells gives you the rebounding and interior passing/scoring. Brooks was developing into a solid backup. While BJax has had one or two great games....the rest have not been all that impressive.

If Landry can stay healthy, it's a good trade. Without him, we've struggled scoring inside and so we've missed Bonzi a bit more.
