Don't know that I agree with the trade. I like getting rid of James and his HUGE ego and contract. I'm iffy on Bonzi. I don't think he was going to get much better. His shot selection was questionable at times and he was inconsistent. He'd frequently miss layups. However, he did score for us on nights where T-Mac was MIA or injured. I really don't like sending him to a divisional rival. And, as much as I was hoping this was a part of a larger trade, I never really believed it was going to happen. Oh well. Water under the bridge.

Welcome to Houston Bobby Jackson! :D

Any idea when we'll see him in the lineup? Did he hop a flight and will be on the bench (observing) tonight. Hopefully play some time tomorrow?

You're the one who pointed out that Alexander lost a ton of money. I'm the one who pointed out that nobody really cares.

Has there been any feedback regarding this trade, from anyone important within the rockets organization(adelman, morey, mcgrady, yao, etc.)?

That's where you're wrong. It takes a team, role players are important. You keep trash around your stars and you lose. Your stars can score all day long but you can't win in the playoffs going 2 on 5

I posted earlier I think he becomes a situational player. I guess he could take mins away from Jackson or rafer if we need his speed.

You don't have to care. All you have to do is not call a guy a "douche bag" for not wanting to dump millions of dollars on a guy who's gonna walk in the offseason. That was my point in its entirety.

When did Deke ever walk out of a practice? When has Deke ever been anything but relentlessly positive? When did Deke let the media know that he wanted to be traded? Snyder's going to ride the bench because of his craptaculous attitude.

I didn't call him a douche bag. You're confusing me with somebody else. I'm the one who characterized him as weak and indecisive because he decided to break the luxury tax threshold at the beginning of the season in order to try and win a title. Once he decided that no title was possible this year he backtracked. If you're going to commit to winning the title then just grit your teeth and do it.

Your implication was that the guy couldn't possibly have learned anything about Adelman's system simply because he wasn't getting floor time.

Sorry, but that makes no sense.

My understanding of the chain of events is:

Snyder is unable to pick up the system -> Snyder being benched -> Snyder getting a really crappy attitude.

No, I'm not confusing you with someone else. I didn't say YOU specifically called him a douche bag. I said you shouldn't. Good job.

You're the one who's lost sight of my entire point. My point was: don't call Les a douchebag. That is rude and childish. Go ahead and disagree with the guy (heck, I DISAGREE WITH HIM TOO FOR CHRISSAKES), but he had reasons for doing what he did.

That may be true, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible he could've learned the system a little better by now.

Jackson will be of value if he can play the point to take pressure off Rafer and Brooks. If he fails we are in major trouble. He can shoot better but can he do anything else?
If Bonzi was still here,Tracy would have to take a bigger role at the 1 but we would have been able to have them together on the court at times. Now we don't have that option.

Les is a Douche Nozzle. He gets the brunt of the disgusting sauce and is the sole creator of the douche as well as taking the crap for being a douche.

I think the crappy attitude alone would be enough to guarantee he stayed on the bench. You can't walk out of practice.

It may be moot anyway. Somebody's reporting that Snyder's been traded for Gerald Green.

Again, you're the guy who wrote that Les lost a bunch of money. I'm the guy that wrote that that's completely irrelevant to the fans. If you have some beef with the guy that called Alexander a douche bag hunt him down.

Anyway, FWIW I don't think the douche bag comment was entirely serious.

The trade gives the Hornets depth to their roster, while the Rockets get a veteran backup point guard and make room financially for another possible deal.

okay there is room for another trade we need to get rid of old man jackson, and get someone that wont keep the bench warm
