Man I still hate this trade...all we need is another wafer jacking up shots and can't hit anything on top of never passing the ball. At least Rafer can pass the ball from time to time.

I loved watching Jackson come off the bench for the Kings as their sixth man. He was Adelman's not-so-secret weapon and he generated instant offense.

    But he's 35 years old...

    That was

    SEVEN

    YEARS

    AGO!

Plus, those are seven NBA years. Jackson is falling apart physically at this point.

Welcome to the year 2008, buddy!

With the deal, the Rockets will move under the luxury tax and might have an opportunity to make another roster move. Also with the deal, they move their player salaries under the luxury tax threshold of $67.865 million by enough that if there is a player available they would want to add, they could release a player to create a roster spot and sign a free agent to a pro-rated salary for the rest of the season without incurring a luxury tax penalty.

If the Rockets don't do anything else by 3 PM ET tomorrow, the Nuggets and Warriors will be loving it.

The point is that he was a good point guard then. I remember. I watched almost every game.

And yet... knote32 says he can be a "proven NBA shooting guard" but not a "proven NBA point guard."

I was not aware that the ability to play point guard diminishes faster with age than the ability to play shooting guard does. Guess I must've missed that memo.

You mean the same Lakers that only won the title that year because of what both Bill Simmons AND David Aldridge went out of their way to point out was the worst-officiated 4th quarter in living memory?

At least we can have a chance to view Tmac fighting against BJax V2.0. They did fight in the court when Tmac is young.

we're going to pass them with or without wells.

Scola and Landry have been far more vital to the rockets success this year anyway.

I enjoy Niko Nikos btw, while a tad greasy the food is delicious.

But to be perfectly honest this probably sets us up for another trade but not likely. Mike Miller would be perfect as Bonzi would have eaten into his play time if we do acquire him. If we make no other moves this is a definite head scratch and an ass whiped toilet paper stuck to the car window away from bizarre. From my understanding of our cap situation we will still be significantly over the cap anyway to have room for any signing beyond the MLE + extensions for Landry and others mean we have even less...this is bad. Goodbye 3rd option unless Morey thinks Alston will keep this up.

Unless we are trading alston tomorrow...to Sac..for Artest...since A-Johnson/Udrich is runnin the show up there right now...
