The fact of the matter is, if it IS a salary dump as a lot of you think it is.....was it worth messing with the team's completely awesome chemistry? I just refuse to believe that Les Alexander would be so interested in saving a few million dollars that he would be willing to jeopardize what the team has going right now. I'm holding out hope that a deal for Mike Miller/Ron Artest is in the works.

    Feigen from the Chronicle:

(Yeah, I have something written on that, too. There are a lot of moving parts, but Jackson for James are the primaries. The Rockets would rather Kirk Snyder be in the deal than Wells, but they want Jackson to have a veteran backup point, and to have one less season on his contract than they have on James'. Adelman thinks a great deal of Jackson. The way I worded it in my story is that it has been tabled until tomorrow, but they are still talking to someone tonight, so things could change. It's not something to trigger a different deal, though. -- Jonathan)

This just sucks. It looks like a move to dump salary, not to actually improve the team.

Just like how Mike James and Steve Francis were proven commodities as well? Sorry, DD, but this is simply a financial decision. Bonzi, for his inconsistent play, was still a good option to have if we get to the playoffs.

When JVG was the coach, he brought all the old members from New York. Now it is Aderman to bring his old members from Kings. Who is the next one, we only get 14 hours left.

Ive never actually cried over a sports team but I believe NOW would be a good time.

This weakend our bench substantially. AB can do the same thing BJac can and for cheaper along with keeping Well. We coulda packaged JAMES up for someone else, and I feel snyder will be traded tomorrow too but probably for some sort of pick + scrub. This is a sad day for Rockets fans. Les has tanked the season already and made Morey look like a fool.

I'm definitely going to miss Bonzi's passes down low in the block, especially his touch passes. We might as well get rid of him now, since the man's looking to get paid this summer.

Knowing our owner, we'll ship BJ's expiring contract off for a trade exception and let it expire. Might even throw in a draft pick.

I guess without Bonzi, NO would not take Mike James.

Supposedly, Mike Miller was of the Memphis game tonight with "back spasms". But this guy has only had problems with his knees in previous years. He seems to be getting ready for a trade? Memphis also sat down Pau Gasol due to "spasms" before he was traded to the Lakers.

ahhaah, the talks of artest never took off...we were just hoping...

artest is a king or maybe a nugget....

the talks of Mike Miller are of no significance....

the talks of Andre Miller died down days ago...

we are left with a team with such limited athleticism it is ridiculous. Other than T mac, who possesses the talent on this team to both dribble on the perimeter and dunk???

we SUCK....the win streak was against all Sh$#$# teams...and we just got worse...

maybe BJ gives us a decent season...but it's not enough... and lets' not bring up Mike Harris and Snyder anymore....if we are really relying on an unwanted NBA scrub and a player who has never played an NBA regular season game then we are in trouble.

    wait, we already are.

Are you going to miss how many point blank layups he misses during games? Usually 4 to 6!
