   :( :( you guys need to hop off da drugs. tryin to talk yourself into this being a good trade because its not. bonzi was the only big guard that could punish the smaller ones, now we have another small guard to get abused in the post.this kind of reminds me of the draft where ever1 was expectin us to trade AB but we kept him. same concept i wouldnt be suprised if their wasnt any follow up move.

DD, you were crazy about Vspan last year. No offense, but your track record in evaluating Rockets point guards is a bit spotty as of late.

There had better be another move.

the deal will weak rox's bench, and improve the opponent for now,and think more about future, next year bonzi would ask for more salary, add james's bad contract, houston will has little cap, jackson can play under aderman, and maybe more purpose for trade, can trade for miller(add snyder) or get rid of brooks to trade for artest

This trade sucks and reminds me of when jvg brought in his old over the hill former knicks. Jackson is done and is not worth bonzi. Bonzi was doing great lately.

Well, look at the numbers everyone ... Bobby Jackson, at his best, the coach was Rick Adelman. In 2002-03 his FG% was .464.

So, maybe a change of scenery plus, he knows Adelman's system, will yield a positive result for the Rockets. Yes, this gives Snyder an opportunity to show us something preferably positive. :p

This potentially is like us getting Jon Berry in 04-05 and that experiment with exception of Jon getting old FAST, turned out pretty good.

So lets don't throw the brass under the bus just yet!

I don't think so. If there was a tangential move, whoever reported this trade would have knowledge of the other trade.

    This is just terrible.

As a point guard, he is the same type as MJ.

Yes, but my love of V-Span was all about building for the future because I thought Rafer was not the answer.

Bobby Jackson is a proven NBA PG.....and when Alston struggles it will be great to have a proven alternative.

Hey! I got it. After the season New Orleans will sign and trade Bonzi to Houston for BJax's expiring deal.

Jackson is more consistent than rafer - consistently bad. Less of everything. And that's compared to rafer. Geez.

I wonder if the Grizzlies really like Vinicius or they are just doing a favor because of the Gay-Battier trade.

Ok. Recap. According to Yahoo Sports...
So let me get this straight. NO wanted a backup point guard for Chris Paul, but Bobby Jackson wasn't good enough. Houston wants a backup for Rafer, but Mike James wasn't good enough. So they SWAP incompetent backups, and claim to be set at that position. The logic amazes me.

basically, the bad decision on picking up mike james cost us bonzi wells. Oh and I wouldn't hope anything happening with the Grizzlies because Mike Miller is not considered 'minor'
