I can see your point, but if Bobby Jackson can solidify our backup PG spot, it makes the team that much better.

I know it is a salary dump, but at least it was a dump that has the potential to improve the team overall......

And you have to credit Morey for that.

I think you haven't see Snyder play for so long that you forgot how bad he sucks. He's not even half the scorer Bonzi is, and not to mention the passing ability. Snyder is a total blackhole.

If this is the only trade, sure thing.

Anyone who thinks Snyder or Harris can make up for what Bonzi has been doing is delusional.

This also tells me that the Rockets front office thinks Rafer can be the third scoring option. The guy scores 22 pts last night and all of a sudden Bonzi becomes expendable... Ugh.

Also, the Rockets have been on a win streak from hell - why **** with the chemistry for this **** deal?

Clutch is probably right that this is about money.

IF that turns out to be the case, I'll gladly turn my focus to the Astros.

God, Les Alexander is an *******.

I like your optimism, maybe he can be to the Rockets what Mike James was supposed to be. He certainly played great tonight vs. the Mavs...

With that said, I do feel we are rather thin now having to rely on Head/Snyder at the back-up 2...

The Spurs needed to dump 60k to get under luxury tax which they achieved with the Kurt Thomas trade.

Ok, I concede that, but by how much, if the margin is fairly thin and you get a good solid backup PG out of the deal, then the team improves as a whole and that is what is important.

Snyder isn't smart enough to play like bonzi. He has the athleticism and the skills but not the noggin for it.

True to that. Snyder sucked everywhere he has been. Neither JVG nor RA wants to play him.

Les has you guys fooled once again. He is out there to make money using Yao as a cash cow, first and foremost. Cheap owner in the same conference as owners willing to spend big usually leads to disappointments.

Might as well get a head start in planning next year's contender slogan, "Fo Sho Yo!"

Everyone else in the West is crying Huzzah for making their colossus trade for an All-Star while we b**** and moan about our trade for a backup scrub.

Don't you get it that it was a salary move? It has nothing to do with talent.

Booby Jackson may be as talented as Bonzi Wells, but he doesn't help the team. Bonzi did a great job spotting Tmac. Jackson is another undersized wing.

He was a friggen STARTER for JVG until he broke his hand....sheesh.....the guy can play......and is a slasher, someone who attacks the basket......he is a bench player...a bit player.....he can fill the role adequatly...

Backup PG is more important to this team that backup SG/SF......

That is why the trade is good.

Snyder has not shown the ability to draw fouls or rebound like Bonzi. Is Jackson that much better than the guy who's time he will be taking, Aaron Brooks? Basketball wise, I have a bad feeling about it. Bonzi could be frustrating at times, but Snyder is pretty much totally unproven on this team. Salary wise, it's definately a solid move because James is done.

I dunno, I'm wondering if this move was made to actually improve the team of it was made for the sole reason of getting under the luxury tax.

In other words, if the Rockets aren't going to get anywhere in the playoffs anyway, why spend so much money?

Snyder and Bobby's contracts is just about the size of Artest's contract

    Just wondering aloud
