nice, another washed up point guard that probably wouldn't give the rockets anything more than what Rafer has.

    <strike>Mike James</strike>
    <strike>Steve Francis</strike>
    Bobby Jackson...?

I don't understand what Management is trying to do If we don't pull off another trade after this. We are basically giving New Orleans the better side of the trade and not helping our playoff run.

If that's the case, I am going to be mighty disappointed. So much for "It's time" or whatever our slogan seems to be this year. Ugh.

We have no choice but to rely on Scola and Landry. Bonzi was making things easier for them. We will miss him.

Maybe we've got a deal with Memphis contingent on taking back Cardinal with Miller in exchange for BJax and the rest of the expirings?? Deal may be contingent on Denver coming up with a better package to take on Cardinal's salary. We could concievably dump BJax along with the expirings of Francis, Snyder, Hayes, along with Luther and a pick for Miller and Cardinal.

The Rockets couldn't find anybody in the east to dump James' salary on? Why help the Hornets? This is the second time we've traded two players to the Hornets for a undersized scoring guard.

Well whats new? Rockets management is always shady like this. They convince players to sign here for cheaper than what they could get elsewhere and then do them wrong. Im really starting to believe the owner is horrible. I mean look at Joe Dumars, he handles the Pistons, Danny Ferry even has a front office job in with the Cavs. What about our Championship Rocket players? Thats why Im not surprise seeing Kenny Smith not talk about Houston. We couldn't even keep Hakeem here as a mentor, instead we traded him to Toronto, for what? Les didn't want to cough up for Hakeem. Personally I would have given him that contract, he deserved his salary. Anyway that is just my 2 cents, here is a brief history of what Im talking about:

Robert Horry/Sam Cassell- Traded after their first 3 yrs in Houston winning 2 championships in their young careers.

Mario Elie- Never received his contract during the lockout, forced to find a team in a short period of time. Luckily it was the Spurs who won it that yr.

Scottie Pippen- Signed and questioned why the Rockets wanted to bring him here.

Signed Antoine Carr- (Didn't care for him, but I remember him being pissed off for being traded, felt lied to by the Rockets)

Stromile Swift- Had a couple teams willing to pay more, decided to sign w/Houston only to be traded back to the team he left to come here only a yr later.

Bonzi Wells- Yes should have signed that deal with the Kings, but had to settle for us, Im sure we promised him playing time and for sure even more in the playoffs, and now when things are going well, we ship him off to clear cap space. Yes he is probably in a better spot to show his talent but come on Rockets management, you are shipping him within the division to an already #1 seeded team. Shame.

Any others please feel free to add, Im out.

Well, I can see a Brooks/BJax/T-Mac/Landry/Scola 2nd Team on the court. Not bad....but the key to all this is the health of BJax.

Well if we are dumping salary then our current season/playoff chances are probably deemed to be less important than our long term financial flexibility?

I still can't believe we helped out a team in our conference much less our division. This could really come back to haunt us, especially if this is it and we stand pat now.

Wonder how Bonzi feels about picking up his option now? Of course he is going to a contender to get major run.
