    this will suck if we face the spurs in the first round or something. REALLY suck.

    from the chron article, it appears that the rox did this to get the flexibility in the offseason next yr that they did not have if this trade wasn't made.

    i guess this was the move - gives us cap flexibility

    Exactly, people thinking this is a pre-cursor to something bigger is fooling themselves.

    If we are under the luxury-tax now, that pretty much says it all.

    Yes, Rockets are around 669k under LT now. Harris would on a 1st year rookie deal would be prorated and cost around 220k. IMO save Harris's 1st year rookie contract for next season.

    Sign Brent Barry instead.

    I'm going to miss Bonzi even though he wasn't as consistent as we needed him to be. Bonzi will be a dangerous weapon against us. Let's hope that Bobby Jackson has something left in the tank. We need him to step up at the 1.

    Hmm I felt like this when we drafted AB instead of Tiago Splitter and we then subsequently drafted Carl Landry.. Remember that Rockets Fans!!?!? Little did we know we were going to sign Luis Scola, Steve Francis and Carl Landry was going to impress us all.

    Have faith..something else is in the works..if not then B Jax it is...

    Barry would be the smart move. I hope that's the direction the Rockets are headed. That would be the third Barry to play for our team. :D

    I don't feel too bad about this trade. We kept our rookies, which makes me happy. I'm glad we moved Mike James, but man, trading Bonzi is going to hurt.
