The point of this thread, and the discussion is entirely relevant, he just does not fit on the Rockets. And, he has had all year to get in shape, and is still too big......just get rid of him....he is NOT going to help this team. DD
Yeah, complete agree on that. I thought Bonzi would be a 15/5 kind of guy heading into the playoffs. Dissapointed that he still hasn't reached that kind of level. Although...I also thought Stro would be a 15/8 guy XD

Like it or not, Bonzi will play every game from here on out, just like JVG said. Considering that he played little today, don't be surprised if he plays a lot more tomorrow. Snyder only played 2 minutes. Head took up all their time today, and rightfully so. I still predict Bonzi will have an impact on the team. I'm not going to be nearly as reactionary as you.
I see, so the reply in this thread is not reactionary......riiiiiigggghhhht. The reason I bring it back is because I believe the team is wasting time even playing him...and the sooner he goes, the sooner the team can focus on guys that will actually make a difference in the playoffs, and in the future of this team. And I am right almost 95% of the time.... DD
U Cant get rid of him right now..........they had the chance to trade him and they did not. Now is all about using him for the playoffs (if is worth it) and then let him go. Cause you can bet he is going to exersice his option and sign with another team.
I'm actually not too sure about that. With the flock of quality free agents in this years market, Bonzi's market value might be lower than ever. If he's smart and gauges that he won't get money elsewhere, he might just exercise the option and force us to trade him or buy him out.
Sorry but this is all the coach's fault. You cannot just either ignore, or disregard the fact that you have a talent on the team. It's one thing assistant coach doesn't do and its adjust. This team needs to be more than pick and roll and post and kick for a 3.
I think it belongs here. It's about the fit and while you say he doesn't fit here, there is a reason, and its not because Bonzi can't play basketball, or Bonzi is a dumb ball player. We've seen Bonzi on what 3 other teams now, all different coaches, different styles, and all of a sudden he needs to sit out the entire season when he comes to houston. Sorry but the only reason he doesn't fit is becuase someone doesn't want him to fit.
Fair enough, but JVG was not going anywhere, and clearly is not going to change, so that is another reason I guess that the Bonz doesn't fit. DD
Just making the point. The fans here always make it out that its the players are the bad guys. Seems you have to be undersized, unathletic only a jumpshooter or old to play here.
dude, kirk snyder is an idiot who looks over at JVG every play.. it's like he plays to satisfy JVG and not his personal hunger.. which brings me to another point. how the hell can you expect players to WANT something when they have to watch over their fuking backs half the time.
