Bonzi can play Raja and Stackhouse better than Head can. Bonzi can also punish Dallas going small in the backcourt. Bonzi is not unathletic when in peak condition--he gets lots of rebounds and steals and moves well for a guy his size. If he can stay healthy for 2 more months I think he will peak just right for the playoffs.

I do agree Snyder should get minutes though. I think they should come off of Head and Battier's for now--who both look a little worn and been overrelied on. And when Yao comes back, Bonzi and Snyder can get more of Tmac's minutes (w/o Yao it is juts too hard to go long w/o Tmac out there).

Agree, also I am very impressed with Bonzi's passing skills, the guy has one of the highest basketball IQs on the team.

    I disagree.

IMHO, Bonzi can not keep up with either Raja or Stackhouse......

    Bonzi can punish Ginobli.....on offense.

Bonzi's problem is his size has limited his defense, he is a significant defensive liability right now.....

    He is just FAT !

    Sammy the classless,

The only joke is you who come into a thread to post some inane crap about a poster, rather than the subject matter at hand.

If you think Bonzi is a good player, then make your point....your stalking of me is amusing to say the least, but at least I am not afraid to come out and state an opinion on a BULLETIN BOARD...where, you know, discussion is warranted.

You, Sam Fisher and Vic Victory are all the same.....you come into thread to whine about a poster you don't like.....

Instead of simply contributing....how very small and classless of you.

It would go better if you just put me on ignore, that way you can actually only follow people who are sunshiny instead of those who like to keep it real and deal with issues rather than duck our heads in the sand and pretend like losing to Atlanta, or Denver, NOK, is ok.....

By the way....JVG is on my side...stick that in your diddy bag....

Then what does it say about Bonzi when no one wanted him as a free agent?

that was the dumbest statement i have ever heard. kirk snyder is amazing.
he slashes he drives he finishes

we really got to think about putting snyder in for some of hayes' minutes (if it is at all possible) cause i am really sick of hayes' absolutley dispicable play. the ONLY think hayes can do is rebound.

Um Hayes and Snyder play different positions, so Snyder can't really "take" his minutes...And yes, Kirk Snyder is amazing, thats why he is sitting on the bench behind an out of shape Wells and a 1 dimensional Head

ummmm...so the one legged man is going to show others how to run a marathon?... :D

I think you would actually have to have knowledge of whatever you're trying to teach in order for someone to learn from you...LOL

kirk snyder is a good player. He is very athletic and works hard on the defensive end. He is a very underrated defensive player, and in the course of a regular season it wouldn't do much harm to give him some chance to prove himself. There should be enough playing time to go around betwen him and Bonzi. It should depend on who's playing well at a particular night.

    Dada the flip-flopper,

You make contradicting statements, which makes you come off as a bi-polar human being. You dont know how to handle losses and usually sound like a elementary basketball fan. (please dont say something about how old you are and how long you've watched basketball....we have all heard it before  ) Sorry that you think that Im classless....Im merely pointing out the obvious. Im really pulling for Bonzi now, since you said he will NEVER fit. Im hoping its another thing your completely wrong about.

Of course I flip flop based upon new data or performance.....before the season the info on Bonzi was great, we were getting a bargain......and then he shows up fat, out of shape, lazy, and gets in a tiff with our coach.

Then after more than 1/2 the season and maybe a handful of decent games, I have seen enough......the guy is just a waste of space on the roster....

And he will be GONE next year....so I would rather give the time to the more athletic player Snyder since that is where we struggle....with speed and athleticism on the perimeter.

As to flip flopping......again.....did you like Stromile? I will bet you were happy we got him....now, not so much.

Anyone who does not adjust their position based upon the ancedotal evidence is simply not facing the truth.

I call em like I see em, and my opinions change based upon the facts of the season.

And as for your comment about you really pulling for Bonzi to prove me wrong...just more evidence that the only reason you came in here was to bash me....what a waste of time and energy...SHEESH !!

I am not afraid to be wrong....big deal.....got to take risks in life to get anywhere, and not all of them are going to work out....but don't forget the numerous times I am right....Battier, Ming, Francis, many many others.

Then the maybe rights - Boki, V-Span.

The wrongs: Langhi, Wells before the season, Alston.

Can't be right all the time, but you can take a stand......nothing wrong with that.

You fail to realize that you flip-flop on a game to game basis. Any ways...like it or not...Bonzi is our only legitimate scoring threat off the bench, other than Head. Snyder is aggressive and all, but he cant make jumpers...period

I don't flip anything on a game to game basis, but I do credit a player if they play well...that doesn't mean my opinion about his fitting in has changed, only that he played well that particular game.

I want the team to have a chance at a ring...THIS year...and while Bonzi is a matchup problem for San Antonio, he is a severe liability against Dallas and Phoenix.....Kirk fits better against all of those teams.

    Season stats

    Bonzi FG% 42.4 - Snyder FG% 44.1 - Edge Snyder
    Bonzi 3pt% 16.1 - Snyder 3pt% 22.2 - Edge Snyder
    Bonzi FT% 51.8% - Snyder FT% 65.9 - Edge Snyder
Bonzi Apg 1.0 - Snyder APG 1.2 - Edge Snyder
Bonzi TPG 1.87 - Snyder TPG .63 - Edge Snyder
Bonzi PPG 7.4 - Snyder PPG 5.2 - Edge Bonzi - Bonzi avg 5mpg more - adjusted for minutes a virtual wash.
    Bonzi RPG - 4.3 - Snyder RPG 2.3 - Edge Bonzi

All of this and you must consider that there is a huge edge in speed and athleticism to Snyder over Bonzi....and Snyder is a MUCH better defender.

So, as you can see, based upon the ancedotal evidence, whom do you think should be playing?

Factor all of that in, and then consider that Bonzi is a one year rental it is not hard to see whom the franchise should be supporting....

    SNYDER BABY !!
