"Trade Anthony Davis" - Skip Bayless reacts Lakers embarrassing loss to Rockets 128-94

I kinda feel like they are very similar situations (Lakers / Clippers) in that they are teams made up of older stars that require a certain type of role players to excel, and both teams lack those necessary role players.
The Clippers may be a more extreme version of that, you could add PHX to that list too.

Think about it, no one to really be that lock down defender, who's setting picks for ball handlers, who's selling out their personal stats keeping the opposing big off the glass for team rebounds .... who's picking a ball handler up 94 feet?

 

They gonna study our defense system carefull, If they wanna win, that means gotta take us seriously. And then we're gonna lose some after our weaknesses got exposed to teams, but never mind, after a couple tweaks here n there we gonna keep the ball rolling again.
Overall to say…It's a spiral movement during the whole pshet, And thats how usually things going to all kinda rising teams (powers) in this league.

 

Some truth to that, but much of our success is about hustle and having a youthful team that has more stamina than an older team.
No about of video study will diminish those assets.

 

Davis is definitely not right .........the Rox are just the beneficiary.

Maybe it is just a season where everything goes right except probably development from the bench prospects.

Things come back in another season.

 

Jock to Lakers, Davis to our bench.

 

Davis is washed, he isn't a guy that dies to play or to win, he is just not worth it.....
