Don't take it seriously HT, I'm just messin' with you. Collier may have some value to teams that need some more depth at the 5 spot, but not so much that it merits any kind of sign and trade deal. I'll bet that he takes the same route as Langhi and signs with some team for the minimum never to be heard from again. I always liked the guy but he isn't what I'd call NBA material.
If you are 7 feet tall and can make a middle range jumper...then you have some value...I wish I was 7 feet tall.
You may very well be right. I included Collier in the trade to make the deal work. However, Memphis getting him in a S&T for just over what he made last year would be a good move. He'd be a nice backup for the price &, as I alluded to before, he's got the potential to develop into a quality center, with the right coaching & more PT of course. This may sound stupid, but Collier makes me think of a young Brad Miller.
Didn't Collier cry about not getting enough time and that his injuries were phantom. He's toast. There is a reason: Cato is a better defender/rebounder and will bang. Collier is not fast and has limited lateral movement. He susceptible to turn-overs, because everyone that covers him just takes the ball away from him. Other than that, Collier is awesome -----------------------------------------------------------
Trade not accepted. Your giving up to much in Mobley. And not getting enough in return. Try try again.
