    I don't think so unless they have another free agent they are looking at that is going to sign for more than 7 mil.

    They NEED his salary for trade purposes, and believe it or not, back in 2012, he was someone the Rockets liked and tried to go for in free agency.

    Right now there is no point in waiving him.
