I'm not expecting them to have shouting arguments or have shoving matches in front of the camera either. My gut feeling is that Tmac is sometimes annoyed with MJ's playing habits when they are on the floor together, this waving off each other while one has the basketball is comical. MJ needs to understand that if TMac wants to bring up the ball, don't demand the ball from him. Conversely, TMac needs to give up the ball to the PG for him to bring it up and let the PG run the offense during the course of the game, TMac knows he's going to get the ball at the end of the games.
t mac was playing like a mvp at the beginning o the season and we were winning...I think he got hurt and tried to play thru it and the team struggled. That is the reason why he was walking it up the court the last couple o games beore he went out I think. In preseason and at the start of the year he was pushing the ball.
It's a great sign that he's really encouraged about the team's play recently and really does want to win. This could be a good year.
TMac has said this on more than one occassion This additude is why TMac is not a leader. He doesnt take it upon himself to say, "we are capable of playing better and we wll do what it takes". Instead of figuring out how to make his team play better, he takes the approach like "oh well its out of my hands".
Umm last year's playoffs? He took it all on himself and he got flamed like crazy for it throughout the nation. I think this approach that he is taking with the media is A LOT better. Tmac tends to say stupid things, so its just better for him and the team if he keeps it positive, but not to personal.
Last year I think TMac was just running his mouth because he figured by the law of averages that the Rockets should advance past the Jazz to the 2nd round. Even though that gesture was mostly for show, its better than now how TMac is acting as if he is powerless to fix the team. He needs to act like a leader, it is his duty to figure out exactly what the team needs to do differently and find a way to make it happen. TMac has HOF quality b-ball skills but his mindset has never been at the level of a true champion like Jordan who would command success from his team.
Hmmmm, I didn't see it that way. How about we let actions speak louder then words and wait to see what he does on the court?
