Who is this “We” he keeps referring too? I know its not the Rockets trainers or Docs? Is it his multiple personalities? Is it his new Doc and company that finally got it right and said “Tracy yes yes yes! You really do need micro fracture surgery!!! So all of you saying” See Tracy really is hurt and needs surgery!” You are all right. After Tracy has gone to multiple upon multiple specialist who have continued to say after MRI and MRI that there’s nothing wrong with the knee. That it just needed proper rehab and play to strengthen, he has now found someone that says YES we can fix it with micro fracture surgery. Geez. I be I could go through less doctors to find one that will tell me smoking is not bad for you. Man and I thought my wife’s grandmother was a hypochondriac!

He's out for the season with an injury JUST LIKE YAO was last year, but I didn't hear nearly as much criticism when Yao was out. (Probably because most of the people on this board live in China and would never dare tarnish Yao's "glamorized" image.) Get over it. He will be back in a Rockets uniform next season. Get well soon T-Mac, you still have major support in the city HOUSTON.

anybody listening to 610 right now?

matt jackson just said if mcgrady does not play next year, we can use half of his salary, so around 12 million, to sign somebody for next season. is this true?

if so, that gives us some nice cap room to sign some decent players, maybe resign von wafer.

i don't know if this is some medical insurance thing, can anybody clarify? is this a darius miles situation? if so, we need to keep him and sit his ass all season. he's gonna rehab (poorly) anyway and not be ready till way down the line next year.

You cannot even compare the two! ME-MAC did nothing to rehab or stay in-shape after his first surgery last summer. ME-MAC went to ESPN to break the news that he is shutting it down the reset of the season. Yao broke his foot. Ended up playing multiple games after that, until the pain was unbearable. Went to a Doc and confirmed the bad news. Went to them team and with the Rockets support held a press conference that he could not play the rest of the season. Decided to have the surgery to repair the broken bone with a steel plate to insure durability VS letting it heal on its own. Going through extensive rehab and doing everything in his power to stay in the best shape possible. On top of that still being there as a cheerleader for his team. NO FREAKIN COMPARISION!

While I think yao is way overrated by this board, Yao had a broken foot and he played with it without complaining. No one knows if Tmac has real injury.

Wow, 20 million $ for 35 games where he averaged 15 points per game on 38% from the court, well done!

Can't really blame him, he's injured but it sucks that he got that much and still was a no-show...

Or maybe it was because the doctors actually found a problem with Yao. Not the case with Tmac so far. In fact, quiet the opposite has happened. The BEST doctors in the world have looked and didn't see a problem.

Pull your head out of Yao's ass. You must be from China. Yao had a stress fracture, and played about a week after that and soon decided he wanted to play in the Olympics instead of playing in the playoffs for the Rockets. The pain was obviously bearable, because he performed quite well for China in the Summer Olympics. Tracy had his injury BEFORE THE SEASON EVEN STARTED, throughout the season, stated throughout the season that he had this pain, and yet he still won games for us and HE STILL MADE IT INTO THE ALL-STAR GAME. No class? No respect? You are not a true Rockets fan then. Go back to sucking off Yao and Yi.

That's the disabled player exception. McGrady's contract would still count towards the cap. So even though they have $12 million to spend they will limited by luxury tax, meaning they can only spend around $6 or 7 million next season. Also the exception can't be used to sign multiple players, just one.

It could still be beneficial. For example, it could allow the Rockets to sign say three $2 million players in free agency, two with the MLE and using the DPE for a third player.

Okay now that you would like to get vulgar punk and question my devotion to the Rockets by telling me I have my head up Yao and Yi ass and sucking them off??? You’re clueless. Kid I’ve been watching and have been a fan of the Rockets probably before you were an itch in your daddy’s pants. Now if you would like to disagree with me then fine you have every right too, but your logic is ridiculous. Now I have been a fan of TRACY but his continuing so called injuries are a cancer and I am no longer denial. As for Yao I think he has great hart and respect for the game something I believe Tracy does not. Has nothing to do with what type of player I think either of them are. By the way I am white, have green eyes and was born and raised in Houston kid….Save your raciest rants for somewhere else.

I guess being 30 is old. I was right though about watching and being a fan while you were still an itch in your daddys pants.

Fairly certain he will. Anyway, I'm not surprised Tracy is out for the season. But not telling the Rockets first was poor form.

Then again, teams trade players all the time and the players end up finding out through the media, so I guess it works both ways.

I love the "4 posts" rulers of the board. This is the equivalent of walking into a room where you know nobody and immediately telling everyone to shut up and listen to everything you say and then belittling everyone.

I think you'll find no one takes that guy seriously - not in the real world, and not on message boards.
