    NO WAY JOSE !!!

If he is out, he is out, go with what got you to the playoffs.....

The team is better overall without this year's version, just move on without him.

And don't disrespect the players that got the team to the playoffs.

Tracy coming in during the play-offs would screw up any chemistry we had

I think he has value in a playoff series.

What if the Rockets don't make the playoffs? It's going to be tough, maannnnnn what a season. Just Pure Hell. Someone should make a thread right now called, "Just Pure Hell" showing all the highlights of this god forsaken season.

the boss and GM will keep backing him up and calling him superstar until a divorce paper officially issued, no matter what they really think. that's commonsense business. players have prices, when the price is too high, you can't afford to denounce him before he takes the departure. only someone as rich and reckless as the NYK owner would do things like that.

maybe in 2010 they will talk heartly about this.

What bugs me is that this is not from a team doctor. There gotta be some rules against that. He is paid 21 mil/year after all.

I agree bringin tmac back for the payoffs will mess up the rotation, that will probably already be set IF we do make the playoffs

True. It’s bad he is announcing this himself and not talking to the Rockets first before saying anything. If he is truly going to sit out the rest of the season shouldn’t he advise his bosses first? Handle it like he has backing and understanding from management. Not going to SAS at ESPN!!!???? WTF??? If I remember correctly when Yao had to go out with the broken foot last year there was a formal announcement from the team and Yao…. Not Yao going to ESPN!!!

    No Class
    No respect for his team
    No more ME-MAC

It seems that we have been branded as the laughing stock of the NBA due to our star players antics, so the sentiment being expressed here is not exclusive to this forum. Although the above writer is unaware that Les was referring to T-mac's ability to take over a game, the initial point in regards to the media coverage of this "season-ending injury" is right on point.

What about this to save our season? T-Mac for B-Diddy + Camby and Ron+ Landry+ Head for V.Carter. It works on the trade checker.

    Baron, Alston, Brooks
    Carter, Von Wafer
    Battier, VonWafer/Barry
    Camby/Scola,Hayes
    Yao, Camby, Deke

We completly kill all plans for 2010 though. Whatcha think?

I find two things interesting... One.. he announced it on his official blog before the Rockets announced it and Two.. JCF said 'in his own words'

Definitely a gulf between Tmac and the organization on this one.

Its still his body, and he has do do what is best for it. If you think the team's primary concern is T-Mac's well-being you are wrong. Ask Andrew Toney.

OK, this year is going to be very interesting.
Everyone seems to think we play better without T-mac but its totally different
when it comes to the playoffs.

I believe the rockets are talented enough to make the playoffs regardless.
All our role players (esp Landry and Wafer) need to step it up and im sure Wafer can because u can tell he is ready watching him.
Artest needs to be more aggressive and be more of a complete player for us to succeed.
Now that T-mac is out, i think we should not have any trades.
I think this would also be a perfect time to pick up Steve Francis.

I think they have a good chance in the playoffs whoever they play because this team is VERY talented

Indeed. It's as if Tmac took his ball and went home in frustration/anger.
